Diary's of a Sewing Woman

Man I tell ya this weekend was crazy busy. I went down to mom's and she helped me sew like a mad woman. Saturday night we stayed up until 3 in the morning with both sewing machine's going for this craft fair in November. We sewed 20 hooded towel's so far and 36 burp cloths in 2 days. We still have 36 more burp cloths to go and about 20-25 towels to go. I can honestly say...I AM SICK OF TOWELS AND BURP CLOTHS.

All the hooded towels have different color ribbons. The boy towels I added fabric to them. They all turned out so cute.






What's a country craft fair with out camo right? I am still waiting on the green camo to come in so I can get a few yards of it to make burp cloths for the boys with it. So anyway there you have why I have not been around that much.
If it wasn't for my mom I don't know what I would be doing..yes I do...ALOT of CUSSING!! Thanks mom you rock!!
I also have O'Neil working his fingers to the bone as well making 7 ribbon boxes like he made me for the fair as well. He only made 1 the size of mine and the rest are 1/2 that size. Hopefully I will sell all of those as well. I am freaking out about how much $$ I have spent on this damn fair so far. It's a little crazy spending a shit pot full of $$ and not know if it will even sell. GRRRR!!!!
I guess this will be a learning expierence. If they don't sell I sure do have an assload of baby gifts for all my buds out there. Better start having babies is all I can say. I plan on also making some baby cards out of my stampin up products to sell. Hopefully that will helpw ith getting my name out there. What else is on my list ...hmmmmm.....I am contimplating making a few 8X8 albums for babies also just add pics..at least that I won't spend $$ on just my precious time..heheh...god knows I have enough scrapping supplies to start my own scrappin store. Still not sure on that one. So much to do...so many ideas...and SOOOO little time left.

Oh yeah and as IF i didn't have enough on my mind with all this...i get a call from Bank of America's fraud department today regarding my account....tell ya about that in the next post. I am off to bed to rest my neck..i seriously pulled a freaking muscle 2 days ago and that bitch hurts.

COUSIN'S

i made this layout for a challenge GH26 was hosting over at my favorite place ScrapJazz. I was pleased with the way it turned out. It looks much better in person than on here but you get the just of it.


I really like this photo alot because it's all my cousin's in one place together. That is a rare moment in my family because we are all so busy and live different places. This was taken last year at Thanksgiving in New Orleans at my aunt Pam's house.

Nothing much going on around here. Just stressing out and running around like a chickenwith my head cutoff. I have so much going on every weekend until after November 19th. This weekend coming up is a birthday party I have for my best friend from high school's little man Braxton. I can't believe he will be turning 5 already. Where does the time go? After that I have to get crazy busy on making things for the craft fair the saturday before Thanksgiving. Next weekend is the halloween costume party that Elizabeth and her mom are throwing...that's gonna be a good time. The following weekend is my Stampin! Up workshop. That also is something I have to find time to do as well. Sheesh! Why do I do this to myself? Probably because I love it....I love crafting..all of it..sewing..scrapping...stampin...it makes me happy and without being able to do it..I would be one grouchy and pissed off bitch all the time! So there you have it in a nutshell....

Melana and I had lunch with Cinderella in her castle and she didn't know what to think. It took her quite a while to figure out that she was getting to wine and dine with Cinderella and some other Princess's including the Fairy Godmother....Well worth the money just for that.

While her and I were dining with royalty the boys were playing in the park and eating hot dogs....Mason decided he was going to try and lift the sword..this face just kills me and this picture is priceless....

Of course the lovely and stunning Minnie Mouse (which Mason tells me is Mickey's sister)...we had to school him on that. She was dressed in her costume for the Halloween Party we went to. Mad Hatter....neither one of the kids wanted ANYTHING to do with him...I must admit he did look rather strange. Like 2 seconds before that Mason asked if we were going to get anymore biographs and I said we sure are right here with the Mad Hatter...he looked at me and said...I'm not going anywhere....so I did...hehehe

These were two guys on super tall stilts for the Mickey's not so scary Halloween Party..of course the kids were intimidated to take a pic but sure laughed at them...
This is what the kid's did to entertain themselves in the line. October is a fabulous time to go...hardly no wait time in the lines....Unless you're waiting for soarin...better get a fast pass to that one.

Another form of entertainment was the kids decided they wanted to be starts and sign auto...err...biographs and take pictures.....this is pics I was able to capture of them doing it as I was blinding the line...hehehe

Tell me we didn't do that a time or two...they had it down to a science...Mason even told Melana that he couldn't talk to her while taking the pic because Mickey doesn't talk...lol
My favorite ride was the Aerosmith Rocking Roller Coaster...here is a pic I took with my camera off the TV screen when they take your pic during the beginning of the ride...I am on the right in the back with Diana and Keith and O'Neil in the front..of course we were the very first car....IT WAS A BLAST...
I do HOWEVER, hate space mountain...I hated it back in the day I surely hate it now...that thing will beat your ass to death....and jerk you around like nobody's business...


UNIVERSAL STUDIO'S HALLOWEEN HORROR NIGHTS:
Us adults went to have us a good scary time at Univeral and that we did. We got the shit scared out of us. THey had haunted houses set up everywhere and you would walk along and people were dressed but it was dark and they would all of a sudden jump out and scare you...I think at one point I sure pissed my pants...bwhahahah...it was fun...

This chick was in this coffin and they were pulling her all around the park and she had lots of live rats in there with her...thanks but no thanks....I would have sure pissed my pants if I had to do that.

Donkey...Melana was talking to him and to her suprise he talked back...asked her name and she told him and he started carrying on and saying her name and she just looked at me with this funny look...she couldn't believe her said her name...
That's was about all we had time for at Universal...We slept in and got an extremely late start and didn't realize the park closed at 5...oh well next time....We didn't even get to go to Islands of Adventure...
I guess for now that is all I am going to upload...

Fabulous Duo

That's right in stead of packing I was scrapping...you see where my priorities are don't ya? I took another photo of the blowing bubbles so you will be able to see it head on instead of at an angle. The other one is of me and the fabulous Elizabeth. Underneath the box with the Prima flower is hidden journaling. I just told why she is my best scrapping, traveling buddy.

This week has been Cruisin the Coast where all the old cars are in town which is so awesome to see. O'Neil has been shopping for a 60 something Camero SS with a 454 engine so he went to the auction today and while there he bought me this cool ass purse. (No he didn't buy a car..thank god..we have 3 now and 2 drivers..) It's right up my alley...small...I am not one of these big ass bag toting people. I like to fit my cigarettes, my license and my debit card..that's all i need.

while I am at Disney and you are at home and work...that's right...IT'S HERE....we leave Saturday and I cannot wait....

Okay enough rubbing it in your face...nothing much going on around here..I have been playing with my new stampin up stuff...and I am loving it...still trying to get use to everything but it is SO much fun to use these bad boys on layouts. I made a few cards just in a quick hurry to be able to use the stamps and they turned out pretty decent for a 5 minute throw together...not decent enough to share though...hehehe....I have been scratching my brain and I think I am going to hold my first workshop the 2nd weekend in November...that should be a blast....i hope.

I think tonight while watching dancing with the stars I will try and do a layout..i have been itching to scrap but have been in a slump. I guess I am just lazy...
O'Neil and I finally got our costumes for Elizabeth's halloween party. That is going to be some funny shit. I am going to be a sexy corrections officer and he is going to be my prisoner with a mullet and some bubba teeth...that's right folks...i will be seen with someone sporting a mullet....now if any of you have a mullet...that's your business but i can say...i think that shit looks ridiculous...hehehe...not only is it a mullet but it is a 2 toned mullet...dark roots with blonde...bwhahahaha!! I will definitly have pictures to share after that night.

Is it just me or is everybody ready for the cooler weather. I am ready for life to slow down. I feel like in the winter I get more crafting done because there is nothing better to do...and who wants to sit outside and do stuff to freeze your ass off?...not me!!

Well enough ramblings....I am going to try and catch up on blogs the rest of this week before i leave for ORLANDO.....WOOT WOOT!!!
