Glad it is over

we had an awesome christmas. Mason was soooo excited for santa claus that he woke up at 3:45 a.m and came down stairs rooted through his stuff and his sisters stuff...woke us up at 4:15 and he was shaking he was so excited....geeezz!! Santa had just got to bed about an hour and a half before....but i was so excited to see him so excited that i rolled out of bed...made myself some coffee and listen to him rant and rave over all his things. I pleaded with him to let melana sleep until around 6 so he enjoyed the time alone with us ooh-ing and ahh-ing over his things...

oneil got me my 50 mm lens, a diamond necklace, a gift card to the buckle and some of my fav perfume by viktor rolf called flowerbomb...ohhh it smells heavenly...

i got him guitar hero world tour band set, the track packs volume one and two for the rockband , 5 brad butter shirts, and some chanel platnium cologne....

ohhh yeah and thanks to my mom who is the best i am now the proud owner of rock of love season 1....woot woot.... i have a date with mom on sunday to let her watch them and then on monday we are heading to new orleans for girls day with my aunt, my cousin and my moms great friend...gonna be good times...

i am busy

but that is ok. i am getting things done. Just not as fast as I would like to. I am impatient. I want everything yesterday.
I have 2 christmas gifts made and plenty more to do. oh well what get's done gets done.
I had good intentions on sending out xmas cards this year but alas no can do. I waited to late. This year has flown by and snuck up on me. I guess i should probably make a list of things i have already bought my kids and what else i need to get and for who. See what i mean...i am so disorganized...oh well
tis the season i guess.

I made this canvas at my LSS. it is based off the canvas they did at Wrapper's Delight a few weeks ago. i loved it so much i had to have one. Jennifer 9the owner of my LSS) drew another one out for me (because i CANNOT draw) and i am going to paint it too...that will take me a few minutes to do though because it has definitly alot of detail to it. i will post it as well when finished.


this was a class that Vanessa Hudson from Scrap Ect did at wrapper's delight...
i had so much fun re creating it...although i need to work on my shading...

the wonderful and ever so talented Anne-marie Tao nominated me for this very exciting award... thanks chica i appreciate it...

oh well off to the post office to mail out a huge box to my girl Gina. She is going to think she has died and gone to scrappy heaven.

next the topic of choice is Christmas.

i use to be an advid Christmas fan...i loved loved loved christmas but the last few years i have hated it less and less... i dread the whole tree and decorating thing. And that is sooooo (normally) not me. What has happened? As i sit back and think the only thing I can come up with is that the shopping gets me. As much as I love to shop i can't stand shopping for others. It bothers me because I think that what I am getting is cheesy or not good enough. It's a racket it my opinion.
When i was little my mom and dad made sure we had a great christmas. My brother and i really didn't get throughout the year so at christmas we got a living room full of awesome stuff. So of course i think my kids should too, BUT they get thoughout the year so when xmas comes there is nothing to buy them really because they already have it. Our fault YES...is it going to stop YES! because i went and shopped for them and the only thing we could get them was some things for the DS and the Wii....how sad is that. So this year i am putting my foot down and they will not have a big huge christmas like in the past. It stops this year...and maybe after this christmas the future ones will be better for me. We'll see...

What's your thoughts on Christmas? Am I the only one?

This was a layout i did using last years creative imaginations paper. This was created for my LSS. One of the only "school" pics i have of melana. In her 4 1/2 years i have 3...and 2 of them being back to back. Age 2 and 3 i have no pics...rotten butt...she would refuse

i feel like i am trying to get sick and i have no time for that crap right now.
i have created a page over the weekend using the winter kit (sold out) from Noel. I love this kit so much...


i decided i would add the kb to the heart after i had already photographed the last one but i figured since i was photographing my new ones i would re take this one as well..i like it much better now :)
speaking of KB i just uploaded the video of her singing "Hit me baby one more time" at the cat's meow in New Orleans. i will see if she will let me post it....she kicks ass in singing. Girl has talent. I am envious. I couldn't hold a tune in a bucket so i have to stick to my day job.

so tonight at 12:15 i will be sitting comfy in the theater with my gal pal Elizabeth getting our edward cullen fix.... i cannot wait....but i am a bit pissed it is so cold outside and i can't be all cute...grrrrr!!!

Last month E and i went to new orleans and met up with Kim and had so much fun...
we took lots and lots of pics that i cannot wait to get back even one with a street peddler.. BOOYA YA YA!!!

i ended up adding her initials to the foam heart over the rainbow in black vinyl thickers but i a m too lazy to re phtograph it so just imagine it. LOL!
i watered down some acrylic paint and put in my spray mister and sprayed the bazzill with it... i like how that turned out...but PURPLE SUCKS!!
oh yeah and this was for the color combos galore challenge #96 and Virginia's challenge to me as well.
i have to say this challenge (both of them) SUCKED...i hate purple...purple sucks and i will avoid all things purple from now on when it comes to scrapbooking..but i will continue to rock my purple bangs...
off to take a shower and put on my team edward shirt.

life is hectic at this moment but as soon as i get a good one (in daylight) i will upload it...i have some i took in the dark right after she did it but you can't appreciate the purple in it ....oh wait i do have a video i did to draw my winner and talk random crap about the crop...you don't have to pay attention to what i am saying because you won't probably get it but you can somewhat see my semi styled version of my hair...i was a little bit hungover....we went to see mini kiss... LOL

I chopped off my hair once more...it is now super short and spiky in the back from the crown back and purple in the front part of the bangs...

I had a 4 day weekend that was pure bliss and spent 2 days of it scrapping my heart out.

My xmas shopping is done for my kids minus a few odds and ends....HELL TO THE YES ON THAT ONE!! PHEWW!!!

i haven't talked to my homie cheese in quite awile so i must get my daily fix tonight.

and mason started soccer and his coach is HAWT!! makes sitting in the cold a little more bearable :)

These kits rock!

it's amazing for a little girl who hates the camera...she decided since she was dressed up she wanted to have her picture taken. She didn't have to tell me twice...i took advantage of that opportunity.

This layout was made using both the Cornacopia and the Home Sweet Home kit. She only has a few left so if you wnat it you best grab it...
