hope it continues...I have been scrappin my heart out..maybe this year i will actually complete a book instead of having 5 books started and none of them completed. Not to mention my Disney album I haven't even begun to think about...WOW! At least I have a whole year...right? Here are the 4 I have completed








While I am on the subject of scrappin...i like Donna Downey and think her stuff is the bomb , however, I cannot justify $95.00 on a camera bag (they are super cute) that she has for sale. That is just crazy to me....you see folks if I would have made that bag (which I can) people would say "oh how cute" or "awww that's nice" and then if I would tell them I was selling them for 95.00 they would laugh their ass off at me and think I was a damn nut job but because she makes it or has someone make it for her with her name on it...it suddenly become so freaking fabulous everyone just has to run out and get one or two of them.... AMAZING!! ...I guess this is how the world works huh?
And please don't mistake me for being jealous because i AM NOT by any means...Frankly I could care less in all honesty but I just thought that was pretty funny. I have never been one to "have" to get published and all that bullshit. I don't care nor do I think my scrappin is good enough for that. I have never submitted a layout and pretty sure i never will..not even for the layouts of they day and the layouts you can submit at scrapjazz using different makers products....that is not me...i scrap for me and that's that. I guess what I am trying to say is I am glad I am the same old me and haven't forgotten why I started scrappin in the first place!!

So now that i have shared my views on it...all you scrappers what is your take on the 95.00 camera bag? Are people buying because it's her's or what? Would you pay 95.00 for it? Just curious if I am the retarted scrapper that thinks that?

only in Mississippi do we drive barefooted...what the hell is that?? LOL I guess she thought she couldn't drive with her snow white heels on...who knows...what i do know is I go outside and she has no jacket on and it's like 40 with the wind of 10 miles and hour and drizzling....no shoes on, no mittens, no hat...she just drops everything and goes out for a spin in her new wheels...actually..that's prolly some shit i would have done to had i got a Disney car form Santa....lol


This is my bestest friend in the whole wide world....we have been friends since we were 4 when he moved in across the street from my parents house...he took good care of me after my surgery's last year and the kids....he said he went from single to married with kids and a husband overnight...lol

that's all I have for now...of course i took plent more but I have scrapping I need to get done. My New Year's resolution for scrapping is at least 2 layouts a week. I have other New Year's resolution but that is another post...

Glad it's over

Christmas this year was real good. I am glad my kid's are at the age where they can really get into it and enjoy it. I am, however, glad it's over until next year. I will post later this week tons of pics. Until then I hope everyone got what they wasnted from Santa!!

While I was watching the Colts spank Cinncinati's ass Monday night (which made me very happy by the way....Go PEYTON!!) I whipped these out. These are my Gift Certificate holders for my Stampin' UP! Gift certificates. I thought they turned out pretty darn cute. I am having a blast with the different inks and markers...the markers are my ABSOLUTE favorite....I will definitly break down and buy the whammy jammy marker set in January for Sell-A-Bration time. Woot Woot.....




Sell-a-bration begins January 1 to february 28th and my goal is to get all of the stamps because I like them all...well except for 1 or 2.....I have really enjoyed being a demonstrator thanks to my fabulous Upline Simone. She is teaching me all sorts of stuff through email and the phone and the internet....now we just need to get a web cam....hey that's something i could have asked for for christmas. Darn it...too late now....oh well maybe after the new year.

I have been a busy little bee trying to use up old supplies so I can make room for more... I am doing a album for Mason and Melana's Ya-Ya who lives in Kansas and she all but cuss me out because she hasn't received any pages in forever for her album..(forever as in prolly last year) Deep sigh! So i've been busy throwing some together to get her off my back...(snicker).

My 2007 goal is to scrap at least 6 layouts a month. I think I can do it. We'll see. I don't think 6 is an unreasonable number... do you?

Hmmm maybe my first 6 for January should be all 4 of Mason's birthday's and both of Melana's...I would be might quota....isn't that ashame? I am not one of these people who scrap in order...if that was the case I wouldn't have anything done...I have to scrap which ever pic screams scrap me....

Who scraps like me and who scraps in order? Inquiring minds want to know!!

I've said it before and i am going to say it again...BAH HUMBUG....this year I just cannot get in the spirit of Christmas. Normally, I am beside myself this time a year. I go all out decorating inside and out. I am lucky to have a tree up this year. My shopping is done but only by the grace of god. Mason has only asked for 2 things a hummer and a tool set he saw at lowe's...well of course procrastinating I missed the boat. I have called every Lowe's within a 100 mile radius with no such luck. I knew I should have got it when he saw it before thanksgiving. If he would be a child that ask's for everything he see's I wouldn't worry about it that much. All he has kept telling me and Santa was he wanted a Hummer and a tool set. Now I feel like shit. I went to Lowe's dot come and no such luck...I went to Toy's R Us and found the Home Depot one which is fine but of course it's not available online and we don't have a toy's r us...after Hurrican Katrina it was destroyed and they didn't come back....they got the hell out of dodge like so many other stores....

What's a girl to do? I am spinning my wheels trying to figure out what kind of magic trick I can pull out of my ass...

Holiday Mail Love!!

When O'Neil and I first got together I was told I could never check the mail....He loves checking the mail...why I don't know but he does... This is things he has done in the past.

Chased the mailman around town when he was on duty to see if he had mail.
Made the comment that the mailman should leave a note in the mailbox when he doesn't get mail so at least he knows that he came but we didn't have anything

Now this is just a few but now he doesn't get to check the mail because he passed the "love of mail" onto Mason..so today we get home and Mason gets the mail and brings it in. He likes to open the mail to so I normally let him open the junk mail. Since it's the holiday's I let him open the christmas cards. I was opening the other mail and I hear Melana scream that one is mine...I did that one...I looked and the kids had made me a Christmas card and mailed to me... (with the help of their Honey of course..Honey is my mom) they were so excited to see both of their cards come in the mail they couldn't stand themselves...of course I was just as excited because I think that is FABULOUS!!! Mason even addressed his own envelope...

Finally a Real update...

although it's not much at least I have something. My life has been in fast motion and I am patiently waiting for it to slow down. Whoever said that the winter is slow is WRONG.

First order of business:

Sunday we had a birthday party to attend and on our way into Diamondhead we stopped to get a loaf of bread from the store to feed the geese. Melana wasn't to keen on it but Mason sure was....as Mason and O'Neil was feeding them O'Neil decided he would aquat down to get them to come eat the bread out of his hands...well...low and behold I hear "What is that behind me"...well my friends it was one of the geese who apparently decided O'Neil's ass looked good so he would peck at it...lmao...I never could get a awesome shot of it but managed to get this one

I have received some mail love from Josie. She sent me one of her fabulous holiday planners. I would love to take a pic of it but it is at work...I was so stinkin excited I brought it to work to show the girls and on Friday I was rushing to get out of there I went off and left it sitting right on my desk along with my donuts....grrrrr!!! I will post a pic of that tomorrow along with my scrap pages I have managed to complete.. YAY me!!

I took a new photo avatar because I am sure sick of seeing that one I have now...I have to get those unloaded and cropped and all that noise and tonight is just not the night to do it.... I am tired and it is late...so on that note...

Help me please....

So does anyone know how to go back to the old blogger before the beta....
I hate beta....HATE IT!!!! It's a pain in my ass and very annoying...I knew i should have not given in to temptation....grrrrrrr!!!!

Ever since I have switched if you have word verification on you can forget it...i can't see it know matter what i do...so therefore i cannot comment...(deep sigh)

Normally I don't watch the local news here. I think it is a 3 ring circus. Typically the "top story" is the neighbors dog got loose and dumped over the trash can. However, last night was different. There was a house fire that claim the lives of 2 toddler boys (ages 2 and 3) The mother could only escape with the infant baby. There was nothing she could do. I am not by any means one to get emotional. I am not a cry baby but last night I cried not only because I am a mother but because I have children close to her children's age. To see this mother in that much pain & blaming herself for not being able to get her 2 boys out of that fire was devestating for me.
Having been in law enforcement for many years and growing up with law enforcement I have seen and heard ALOT! At the age of 18 I began dispatching police and fire. It takes a special person to be able to do that job and I did it and I did it well. I was able to seperate myself and not let it bother me. The things I have expierenced from 18-25 have been pretty intense and it is things most people will never expierence in a lifetime.

• A suicide scene that was as gory as they come (age 19)
• 2 autopsy's (a smell you will never forget or mistake for anything else) (age 20)
• On the phone with a teenage kid who was being chased by a person in another vehicle which made him crash, the car catch on fire and him trapped in it unable to get out while on 911 with me and burning up in the vehicle with me on the phone. (age 21)
• A woman who's ex-boyfriend, whom she put in jail for repeated domestic assault, slice her up while she was on the phone with me. (age 21)
• A mother driving down the street less than a mile (she was going from mom's house to her's) on the fourth of July with her child (age 3) not in a carseat because I guess she figured the road traveled was a residential one hardly traveled by anyone since there was only a few houses on it. Someone shot off one of those big huge loud fireworks, scared her and the child, the child jumps, mom crashed the vehicle and kills her only child. (age 22)
• My husband of only 2 days, while on duty responding to back up another officer hit a horse he did not see on a dark county road and wrecked 500 feet off in the woods almost killing himself. They said if he would have been just a wee bit taller he would have been killed because the roof caved in on top of him. (age 23)
• O'Neil having to shoot and kill a child's father in front of the child while daddy was holding the child hostage. Daddy gave O'Neil no other choice because he would have killed his own son rather than just let him go. (age 25) (Mason was 7 months)

I could go on and on but the point of this post is, I guess, is all I have gone through you never truly understand or "relate" to anything in it's entirety until you have children. Sure I was sad for the child who lost his life on the fourth of July and the teenager who lost his and most importantly to the child who's daddy lost his life because he would rather shoot at O'Neil and hold a gun to his own son's head because of selfishness. BUT until you have children of your own you really CANNOT understand.

Is it because when you have your own you tend to think "what if" that happened to me or my children? Who knows! What I do know is now I have a deeper and better understanding of what "true love" really is. For those of you fellow bloggers who have children you know exactly where I am coming from. For those of you who don't will soon someday know all these feelings I am describing. You will never in your life expierence love until you have children. You think you know what love is...hell i thought i did... but I didn't. Not until I had Mason.

Hug your family and tell them you love them as often as possible. No one knows what GOD has in store for them tomorrow.

Sorry for such a depressing post but I had to get that out.

Total Bummer!!

okay so the bachelor chose yet again the person i WAS NOT rooting for.....don't these men know they need to listen to me screaming at the tv....Greta knows what is best for them. That's why the relationships never work...because they just don't listen when I speak....how dare them.... hmph!!

Today we had a great time...I ate lots of turkey...cajun turkey...my favorite..and a whole lot of the trimmings. The kids were really good and they all played well together. Melana even gave her Aunt Kelly some love...although she didn't want take a picture.

I think I am going to have to scrap this picture of O'Neil...i Just love it....we were outback on the deck and I was just taking random shots and this is my most favorite...


After we all stuffed our face until we could explode we took a stroll around the subdivision to walk some of it off and let the kids run some more so they would take a good nap. It worked..woo hooo!! This one is of the kids running back to the house...

It was all i could do to keep up with them...It's sooo miserable when you eat that much...

Calling all OPINIONS

I need an opinion because I am not sure which one I like the best...What better place than to ask a blogworld full of scrappers...

Now keep in mind I am stamping Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays on the one that is blank at the bottom...What I am wondering is...Which one do you like better?

1st or 2nd or hell even neither...you will not hurt my feelings...it takes alot to do that just ask Elizabeth.

Craft fair is over...

well i had this really long post full of alot of things to say but blogger ate it just as I was 2 pictures shy of finishing....I would like to tell you that I am pissed about it but I am to tired to be mad...Can you believe that?

anyway I am going to sum it up in a nutshell:

Craft fair started sloooooowwwww but ended ok.....the onsie's were a hit..I even had orders placed for certain one's I ran out of in the size they were looking for..woot..woot!!

I have 3 small ribbon boxes (I think 3 maybe 4)left..and 1 big one left..if any of you scrapbookers are interested..let me know...
The small ones hold 65-70 regular spools of ribbon and the big one holds about 130 of ribbon.


I have a shit pot full of burp cloths and hooded towels left...i made enough to wrap up 321567888546 babies. I think I am going to list the rest of them on my etsy shop.
