Yes this is moi jumping up and down...oh sorry you ask why? Well most of you know why. HE PICKED JES!!!!!!! oh my beating heart....I am so stinking happy I could just cry! I mean after all she is the next best thing since he can't have me.
Tonight was bittersweet for me. I am glad to see he picked Jes but I am really sad it is ending. I am going to me seeing my man every week! {deep sigh}

So I found out who my partner is for the Halloween Swap I am in. Elizabeth and Simone are the fab chicks heading it up. So they paired me with Jennifer B.

So the rules are you have to make something by a bag of their favorite candy ( i see she doesn't like my favorite candy though ;) and spend at least $15.00 on something halloween related. She likes spooky and vintage halloween...hmmm...not the vintage girl but i have something in mind to send her. I can't wait to get started on my item i am making her though....eeeekkkkk!!!!! I hope she likes it.

So let's move on shall we....

Today I opened up Scrap jazz to upload some layouts I have been working on and what do I see not 1 but 4 of my layouts were featured layouts... WHOA!!! I have never been featured before so that was pretty cool. One was for Funny and one for innovative. They voted the Bad 2 the bone layout funny that I did last week and the innovative one was the 2 peas in a pod i did with me and E using the I heart candy town collection from SIS AND the family of four layout was voted innovative...and the cheers layouts was voted funny and also featured....HOW COOL IS THAT??

I had to take pics of my screen to scrap...lol sad i know...anyway

Scrap Goodness

Well Melana did it once again. She decided she wanted to go to dance. So I get her dressed again, Knowing i need a good ass whipping, take her to dance and for about 5 minutes I thought ok she is going to participate. WRONG! she went up to the instructor to grab her hand and 1/2 through the door she decided nope...not gonna do it (said in my best dana carvey voice) IF ANYONE CAN TELL ME THE MOVIE THAT IS FROM I'LL GIVE YOU A HIGH 5..LOL...so anyway she didn't act as bad as the week before but she was whining and carrying on. So I snatched her up and we left. of course she is punished from desert for the rest of the week but true melana fashion ...SHE DON'T CARE!!!! I have decided A) her daddy can take her if he wants to for the next 2 weeks or B) she can participate in extra curricular activites when she can drive herself ...I AM DONE WITH HER!!!

This layout was really inspired by her whole dance ordeal...especially the first night I took her....


this layout was made with the Rusty pickle Girls are Pirates Too line...love that line. i added some glitter to the already black heart with wings for some POP!

This was used with this months kit from noelmignon.com. I love playing with this SR paper. It is delish...the kit is delish and I am LOVING IT!!

WOW!

Where do I start....so this weekend I have ran from one end of the country to another...I spent the weekend with Elizabeth for starters then we damn near spent all day in the car on Saturday and both were EXAUSTED when we finally reach our destination. I never want to spend that much time in one day in the car again unless I am going to Disney World :)

In the midst of this crazy weekend we had lunch with the ever so fabulous Aimee. She is so fabulous and here is the funny thing. Aimee and I went to high school together in Bay St. Louis. She was a year behind me and we knew alot of the same people but never really hung out :(
So we connected again through SIS and this crazy hobby of scrapbooking. E and I decided that we must do this more often with her. (Would show you a pic but E has them on her camera).

Finally late evening after all our errands and cross country trips we attempted to sit down and scrap but unfortunatley we were so pooped I really don't think either of us spoke much so we decided to watch Season 1 of Weeds. OMG. that show is hysterical. We laughed our asses off and ended up falling asleep around 9ish. YEah we are lame but at any rate we did manage to get some layouts pumped out throughout the whole weekend. Most on Friday night and Sunday morning.

Last night I had a case of the couldn't sleep so I was up all day and all night (except 2 hours) i did get 2 hours of broken sleep. I hate days like that. So I am exausted. I did come home to some mail love though and that made me perk up...now I am dying to use the stuff Jude sent me. She totally rocks and knows that this chicka doo here loves her some bling.

The Devil wears a Dance suit

Where do I start....let's start by saying today was NOT a good day...I woke up and felt it was going to be a pretty good day but it turned out to be very shitty and only got worse. I will spare you all the drama and get to the point of this title. Yes I know you are wondering but you prolly know what is coming next.

Melana..oh melana....today was her first day in dance. She is taking Tap, Jazz and Ballet. She has been so excited for a few weeks now since I enrolled her. She has been prancing around here in her tap shoes driving me homicidal and prissing around so I thought ok this is going to be ok. WRONG! She gets herself kicked out of dance class on the first night...YES SHE DOES!!!!

When we got home she was so excited to put her stuff on and pose for me...see exibit A:

in exhibit B she is telling me how she can't wait to get to dance and learn "taps" and "ballerina"

Exihibit C is her walking out to the car to rush off to dance and make it for 6:00

So zoom ...zoom....off we go...get to dance rush in...wait around a second and it's time for all the 3-4 year olds to go to the studio. Melana was ok when I walked her down the hall to their studio and when we turned the corner and went in she FLIPPED HER WIG...the DEVIL came out in this child....now you know she is BAD...but I have never seen her act this way....I was MORTIFIED....so the lady came and got her and held her and was telling me to go on and go she will be fine....so i go and wait in the waiting area...I could here her screaming bloody murder way up in the front of the building. So i am thinking holy shit...all these moms are looking around like what the hell is going on back there and they are looking at me and by this time I am really getting pissed off.....Melana knows that if she acts out usually someone will give in...(not me 3/4 of the time but her daddy will) so she is having a temper tantrum so i scoot on back there and get her calmed down enough that she is starting to participate (if that is what you want to call it) the crying stopped at least. So i get her to actually get up on the wood flooring and she is mocking the teacher and the other NICE WELL BEHAVED little girls (except for one other one who was taking after melana's lead) and i get her to where I am telling her I have to go out and get her ballet slippers because they are going to switch shoes soon. That was ok until I was gone for 2 long and she started the shinanigans all over again. So of course by this time I have had enough of her and she is going back in dance class and i didn't care if she was mad with me or not. She wanted to do this so she was doing it... NOPE! WRONG AGAIN! THe class was already so many minutes into it that they lock the door...You could not even imagine how pissed off and embarrassed I was.
Melana is know for her public tantrums and saying out loud in public how we need to stop "beating her" when no one is even touching her. She makes up all sorts of crazy crap and I am tired of it. Just tired of it... I CANNOT HANDLE HER!!! SHE IS OUT OF CONTROL. If she would have been first there would be no mason and that is a fact.

So anyway....this weekend I scrapped a few pages nothing spectacular. Not sure how I like the,...the one of me and oneil is growing on me and i am thinking i might like it but still not sure yet.

i know it is kinda dark but the flash was to bright so i put my hand over it and i am to lazy after the night i had to photoshop it

i am still not liking this one no matter how hard i try...oh well win some lose some.....

hope all is well on the earth and please please please everyone pray I don't commit myself in the mental hospital soon cause I am really thinking that will do me some good! ;)

So i get an email from Josie telling me if I get offended by this email she can't be my freind anymore..lmao.....well I am like wh? me? nah...she apparently don't know me to well...because I am raw, uncensored, uncut and well really don't care what people think...so with that being said...i knew this must be some good shit right....WELL RIGHT cause it was and I swear I haven't laughed that hard since the cat's meow days with Elizabeth over a stupid bracelet..long story that no one can appreciate but us...but anyway so this is the shit she sends me and it made my day and it made my tomorrow cause I am still laughing

To sum it up she said the rocks around the pool were getting on her DAMN NERVES! Reason # 2563258 I should get the mother of the year award.

Elizabeth and I hit the antique store where I scored this kick ass sign for my laundry room.

yep and right underneath it is the clothes hamper where they have to put their laundry... I just love that thing.

Nothing much really new happening except Mason started swim lessons AGAIN and Melana starts dance on the 11th. I have a feeling I will be running ragged for a while.

I am going to try and start bloggin more. I know I still need to get more pics up of the house but at this moment I can't yet. Although I guess I could post my room since right now it is SPOTLESS and everything is in it's place. Rest assured it won't stay like that much longer.
