Few Layouts

i have been super busy pumping out layouts with the new Noel Mignon Kits 5 foot 2 and Eyes of Blue.
I am currently working on re purposing an old yucky frame that Elizabeth got for me while she was junkin one day.

Friday night mom and i went to see Joan Rivers. She is so freaking funny. I was laughing so hard until my face hurt. We had great seats. We were only 15 rows back from the stage. If you ever get a chance to see her make sure you do so you won't be disappointed. And tiny....i mean i could tell by watching the apprentice she was short but i never dreamed she was that short. I am 5'2 and i bet you I was way taller than her. And let me tell ya....i cannot say that very often because everyone is taller than me. My 5 year old and 7 year old is damn near taller than me... {deep sigh}

Let's begin ..shall we?

First we will start off with the white trash company picnic.
This was so fun to sit back and watch these people make complete jack asses out of themselves. That chick with her bikini gyrating around infront of my dad's band was something else to say the least. I never could get a front view but let's just say it was not nice...this lady was about 60..if she wasn't then she looked it...moving on...if you have plumbers crack because you have no business in low ride jeans in the first place...the least you can do is where a shirt that overs it...and the other pic..well i won't even go there....i will just say get a shirt longer that will cover that muffin top...mmmkay? {deep sigh}




now on to my birthday...
It was a total blast...i have the bestest friends a gal can ask for.

and what would a birthday party be without a dancing cow? WTF? i look up and this cat is getting his boogie on. Only in Biloxi can you go out and see a dancing cow.
and mind you it is like 100 degrees down here at night with the humidity of 100...no shit...he lost some serious poundage that night from sweat. [shaking head}

well that is about all...i am tired...so i am going to ass up the couch and watch some mindless t.v.

I have had basic cable for so long that I can’t even remember days before it.

NO BRAVO , NO OXYGEN, none of those fun channels with the good trash tv on them.



My friends times have changed in the Adams house. Oneil got a 60 inch LCD (that’s his father’s day early) and I decided to combine our home phone, cable and internet service all in one nifty bundle.



Well with this new bundle package I received the digital cable box AND the DVR.

So my friends now I can record all my favorite trash tv programs.



That tickles my fancy and makes me smile real big.

I know this probably isn’t a big deal to you but to me it is HUGE.

I never saw the point in paying for upgrading cable when I really don’t watch that much tv but boy have I been missing out.

Oh my goodness

First i want to say...i went to my dad's company picnic and let me just tell ya...WHOA!! i saw it all.. I will upload some of the things i saw so you can enjoy it with me...seriously...it was interesting to say the least... bitchy yes i know but whatever!

on to my layout for the newest challenge here at noel's.
This challenge is all about the BFF's, or besties or whatever you call it in your neck of the woods.

This is a pic of E and I when i dragged her to see Motley Crue with me in Feb. Well you know us 2 lushes have to get our Cat's Meow fix in the quarter. So this was hours prior to the concert.

This layout was alos for Virginia's Discover your style class. She wanted us to gather things we bought just because and make a layout with it so that is what i did...2 birds with 1 stone...love when i can do that :)



I learned so much in that class now to put it to use .

It's Official...i have a 2nd grader

Monday we had to take Mason to test for the CREATE program ( that is the another name for the gifted program). He said he did really well he just missed 2 answers that he knows of for sure. This is after his daddy spent FOREVER pulling it out of him. This child just does not talk about things. For that matter he barely answers a question with more than 2 words…he did not get that from me or his daddy. That comes from his Honey and Popps ( my mom and dad)



Anyhoo…his report card came in the mail and I am happy to report in English he made a 99, Math a 100 and Reading a 98..all A’s and even got the principals award for all A honor roll the whole school year.



He shall be rewarded…

I'm here...I'm here...barely

This is only a few photos i have left of my wedding day and when i saw this kit (Rise and Shine from Noel Mignon which is Sold Out) i knew i had to use it. These photos called my name and that is just what i did.





For the clear acrylic piece i used some of my alcohol inks and went to town. then i used the liquid pearls for some added oomph and texture around the scallops and in the center of the holes.

This is my "workbook" from Virginia's class. totally loved this class in a mad way. So full of useful information. Notice i said useful...some classes i have taken i have been like...umm WTF..seriously....but not this one...*so* glad i took it.


Also using the Rise and Shine Kit.

So what's happening peeps? I am still mad busy. it's summertime and i want to be outside chillaxin in the pool with a cocktail in hand and lots o sunscreen. So therefore i have neglected my poor blog and my google reader. {sniff sniff}

i'll be back and hopefully in a more regular blogging routine.
