Tah Dah!

Well here they are...this is the best pics I could get under the circumstances.
You know it actually felt really good to stop hoarding on to supplies and use them until they are gone or almost gone. I mean seriously I have more buttons than the law allows and I have been using them and still haven't made a dent in it...here is the nerve though. i have nerve to continue to buy MORE buttons. I did however get to use product until it was completely gone and it was REFRESHING!! I will strive to do that more often.

This is how I spent my memorial day weekend:







Well I am off to bed I am sick as a dog with sinuses and boy did i sure want to scrap.

Good times!

This weekend since O'neil had to work I decided to pack my car and the kids and head to my moms for the long weekend. After the week I had last week it was going to do me some good to get away for a long weekend.

thursday night i decided I would pack the most important things in the car first..my scrap supplies...once i got that all packed up i decided to call the hubby and let him know i was indeed NOT moving out. Although it looked like it because my house was so bare i assured him NOT. Then after I spent over an hour loading my car down (dang i should have taken a pic) I thought that i might need to unload some of it because at the rate I was going the kids would be strapped to the roof of the car. But i didn't...i just crammed them in with the stuff and made them hold alot of it in their seats with them. I only took us 2 changes of outfits and pj's because ..well...ya know mom has a washing machine so why have to make room for the suitcase too...scrappy stuff is indeed the most important..at least i think so....

We scrapped on Friday until 1 am, Saturday until 2 am and Sunday I took a break...I was all scrapped out and the mojo wasn't flowing, however on Monday i was back at it. I managed to get 2 more layouts done on monday before packing up all my stuff and heading back home. I know my dad was glad to see us leave because then he could actually walk in the living room without fear of tripping over all my scrappy goodness.
As soon as I get the layouts photographed and loaded I will post...

This layout is for one of the mom's at daycare. I forgot to get permission to post so i just blacked out the eyes and mouth. I knew when i took this pic of sweet sarah EXACTLY what i was going to do. It's ashame inspiration like that doesn't come for my own layouts that are going into MY book...lol..oh well none the less i loved this one


MME bohemian pp, mm paint in pink and ranger inks in vintage photo, bohemian crown rub on, and i can't for the life of me remember who made the chipboard letters in the arah, fancy pants chipboard swirl that i turned into and "S" and layered with hero arts bling baby!

This next project was sooooooooooo lifted from the fabulous Nancy who E and i finally got to meet live and in person. WOOT WOOT! i'll post those funny pics in a minute. Anyway back to my project i totally lifted. an altered clipboard for Mason's Pre-K teacher. I hope she loves it as much as I do.

now for this mammy jammy i used the flollowing:
a clipboard (duh) , MM paint in spruce green, bazzill cardstock (scalloped), mm sticker letters in black, corkboard aquares from office depot, binder clip and push pens from there as well and sticky notes from the dollar tree, school stickers by reminisce. NOTE: I will be adding school themed ribbon to the top of the clipboard to finish it off as soon as I make a run for HL which will hopefully be tomorrow. I still have a little bit more money to spend for Regina ( I turned into her personally scrap supplier since stuff in Sweden is 2 million dollars more expensive then the US) and then her package will be on it's merry way to Sweden.

My next project is for the owner of the daycare.....should be fun and interesting...we'll see!

Okay so E and I got to meet Nancy. I think i already said that but what i didn't do was show you these pics. Imagine this: 3 chicks trying to set the self timer on nancy's camera and get in position by the time it went off...yeah that was a trick.

bwhahahaha this was us trying to scream to nancy to hurray up it was beeping and SNAP the pic took....lol

4th time of trying we finally got it right..phewww! That was a fiasco

Adrienne and Toya started a blog for inspiration of all kinds. These two girls are awesome. They really will make you think about different things. I know this sounds crazy but I can tell you all the in's and out's of Elizabeth with her quirks and silly stuff she has with her and this and theya and I can even do it with O'Neil and my kids but don't ask me about myself because I could not tell you anything other than when it comes to kids in Pj's to sleep i am a FREAK over that. Kids have to be in pajama's for bedtime (i can thank my mom for that neurotic behavior).
They have invited me to be a part of the contributing team and i am excited. I think i can learn alot form all these fabulous girls that are apart of this blog and hopefully learn alot about my ownself in the process.

Oh well i was happy she cooperated for once.

See Mason has been with his Honey and Popps (my mom and dad) since Sunday so she only has me to play with. Hmmm...maybe I should ship him off more often to get pics like this. here are the rest from that day. You can tell she was trying to be a turd but i bribed her. Candy works EVERYTIME with her. Thank you tootsie rolls!

What a weekend!!

Well this weekend didn't start out very nice to us. Let me set it up for you.
Mason got htat huge waterslide for his birthday and on Saturday morning the kids wake up and go outside in their pj's at 7 am turn the water slide on and go to town. It started to heat up so they shed the pj's and running around just in the skivvies. A little while later I hear some bickering between the 2 kids so i know they are hammering out their differences and praying to god that Melana isn't whipping up on Mason to bad. Ahhh peace and quiet..until I decide I must go to the bathroom and all of a sudden I hear some blood curling screams and hoopin and hollaring going on outside. It's one of those where you know something is wrong...so i am rushing to get to the back door and Melana is standing there and I am trying to ask her what is wrong and at this point she is screaming so bad she can't breath. I happen to look down and she is covered from her knees to her toes in 1259658455874 ants. Yes that's right ANTS!!! So I scoop her up and the closest thing to me to try and get them off is the waterslide...well buddy,....we hit it full force....i am doing my best to get all these freaking ants off of my baby. So i get them off i rush her into the bathroom pour a huge bottle of alcohol on her legs to try and relieve the itching until I can get her the Atarax and cream on her legs. Within 5 minutes her legs and feet and swollen up so bad i started to freak out. I called Elizabeth to hurry and run over and look to see if I needed to take her to the hospital. We both agreed we would just keep an eye on it. They had fever in them and she seemed to be "ok" at the moment. So I pick her up and ask her where she got into the ants and we go outside and around the corner (i have a big corner lot) and she went behind oneil's shed to "pick me flowers" and they were by the "white thing" (the drain in the back) so i go and look and i tell ya...i would have never thought that was an ant bed. It just look like flat dirt and it wasn't aht big at all. Her leg started looking worse and then she had 2.4 million little puss bites all over her legs...they looked so bad. To bad to even take a picture cause i swear child services would come and get my arse! That my peeps was my Saturday. As of today the swelling is still there but we did manage yesterday to pop them and lather her up in neosporin and tall socks. She looks like a glazed donut from the knees down.

For mother's day my babies got me this beauty:

Now I had already bought myself some dies a month ago when i saw them on sale somewhere anticipating I would eventually get one. I had been coaching my little man to tell his daddy he wanted to buy me the cuttlebug for mother's day. Then he was so proud of himself when he "vremembered" the name of it. Funny kid! My "bug" collection is complete for now.
So what did everyone else get? Oh yeah and I got to sleep in until 9 o'clock...now that my friends was the best of all!

Happy Birthday Mason

As I sit here and type this it just melts my heart to know that my baby boy turned 5 today. I reflect back on the day he was born and just cannot believe how fast time has gone by. the thought of him starting kindergarten just eats me up. He is excited to go to "big boy" scholl but momma is not. When they start school that is it. What innocence they have will be lost. My biggest fear is when will he really find out there is NO santa claus? I know that is crazy to worry about but isn't that what having kids is all about? Isn't it all about the make believe and seeing their face light up on christmas or easter or when the tooth fairy leaves them money? Oh well what can ya do?

This morning we got up and he saw his present on the table. His daddy bought him that double decker or double something blow up water slide that is like 6 or 7 feet maybe even 8 feet tall. heck I don't know I do know it is BIG! The first thing he said this morning was OH I LOVE IT. YOUR the best mom. I said aw thanks buddy but daddy bought you that. He said aww but YOUR still the best. I said "shhh! we don't tell daddy that" he chuckled and ran to the room to wake up O'Neil and give him hugs kisses and thanks for his awesome present. I will post pics of his "awesome present" later tonight. Until then here are some of my favorites of my little man!

I hate this next one with a passion. So much that I am not sure if I am even going to put it in my "All about me book". Maybe the more I look at it the more I will like it...or...maybe not! I don't know. I really stepped outside my box.

So while I was sitting outside enjoying the 80 degree weather on Sunday damn near about to fall asleep Mason and Melana start singing Desperado. So I quickly jumped up and asked them if I got my camera and recorded them would they sing it again for me. Needless to say they did and this is it....so hysterical. It was all I could do in order to keep the camera from shaking because I was laughing so hard...

My Scrappy Goodness

WoW National Scrapbooking Day was a blast. Elizabeth and I had so much fun.
We scrapped and scrapped and scrapped and scrapped. We do not talk when we scrap. We watch...err...listen to Sex in the City on DVD and work away. Neither of us like to talk when we scrap that breaks the mojo and we just can't have that.

This layout here was of Mason in Bay St. Louis waiting on the Ferry to take us across the bay so we could head back to Biloxi. The bridge completly fell apart and collapsed during Hurricane Katrina so this is an alternate way to get across the water. We don't take it very often because it takes an extra hour and a half or longer to get home.

BTW MOM ...Melana refused to take her school pictures AGAIN!...grrrr!!! Go figure!

Mail love and Random Pics

First I would like to thank Connie for the awesome princess fabric she sent me along with all kinds of princess goodies. I haven't taken a pic yet because I do not want Melana to see it and be on me like beans on rice to make her something. That would require me to pull out the sewing machine and quite frankly...i am not in the mood to sew...Guess what I am in the mood for though...you got it...SCRAPPING!

Next I would like to thank Mary Ann for the pin cushions I have been drooling over.

Now you think with needing to sew and new pin cushions I would want to break out sewing machine but once again I DO NOT. NOT JUST YET! I have however, already put my fabulous pin cushions to use though.

Hope everyone rocked National Scrapbooking Day. I will be rockin it all month! Any old excuse to celebrate! I didn't however get as much done as I dreamed I would..but oh well...something is better than nothing. I will be posting with my pages soon.

In the meantime my compadre Nancy tagged me to list 5 ways I come up with things for my blog so here it goes..


1. My kids...Mason and Melana..it gives me a way to keep up with funny things they say or do without having to keep up with 5 million pieces of paper that eventually I will lose.

2. My scrappy goodness.. I get to post my stuff for my family to see. I don't get to see them as often as I would like :(

3. MY RAMBLINGS and occassional RANTS: Although i keep it to a minimum I do like to vent alot. I don't always put what I am thinking on here.

4. Events and dates: This is a good way for me to remember events and dates that I will forget 3 days after it happens. I tend to purge important things from my head but rest assured I can spew off some celebrity gossip or anything about trash tv that you throw at me. It's about what is truly important isn't it :)

5. My blog buddies: I love the cool peeps that I have met through blogging in person and on the "net". Everyone has inspired me one way or the other and I never would have "met" alot of you if Elizabeth hadn't talked me into this time sucking thing.

6. Accomplishments and set backs. I tend to make my list of things I want to do on here on occasion. Sometimes i do them, sometimes I don't. More times i don't but it is fun to just have good intentions.
