Whew! Glad it's over

So i really am not going to have a whole lot to say other than I am glad this xmas is over with...it has been one thing after another this year. At one point i had a breakdown. If it could go wrong it went wrong this year. Goodbye 2007...I am gladly welcoming 2008 with open arms.

and then from their Ya-Ya this is what she sends down to them for christmas. AY YI YAH!! I am in dire need of ear plugs

this is what mason made me in school for christmas and had it al; wrapped up and told me i couldn't open it until christmas so i have been dying to know what it was...i opened it and read the little poem on the back and cried...yes i cried...like a baby...he was looking at me like i had 3 eyes..he'll understand one day.

here is melana out riding her new bike...this is her very first bike that is actually her's. She has been riding her "little girl" tricycle and every now and then mason would be so kind enough to share his bike with her...now i eliminated the bickering back and forth and fighting over the bike... I THINK!

Now we will move along to what oneil and the kids got me...boy did i rack up....i was a really good girl this year...
This first gift made me cry..i swear i don't know what the hell was up with all this non sense crying i did but this was the best gift ever.
He and my friend Jonnine co conspired...well he did but had her help him pull it off..

coupons i can use..(he did put on there to that i could not use them all at once they had to be used seperatly..LMAO) one is for a car detail by him...thank god cause mason put a sucker in my door and the heat melted it...don't know how the hell i was going to get that off but now i can just redeem my coupon...lol...and one was for dinner for 2 with him to the restaurant of my choice....i have one for girls night out and he will provide daddy day care...and dinner cooked by him of the kid's choice...looks like the ratatouille cookbook santa got mason will come in handy for that one and there were some more in there...but i thought that was soooooooo sweet. OH and check this...he made my card...yep...he scrapped me a card and put cash in it for me to spend how i like...
he was so proud of his card and so was I...he even informed me that the bah hum bug was scratch off's...lol...i corrected him and told him that was rub on's...but that is ok...he thought that was funny.

and he got me the multi gem necklace, bracelet and earrings from Anilu's shop. I am waiting on that package to still arrive thanks to the stupid post office not having their shit together. grrrr!!!!!
Mason got me the matching emerald and diamond earrings and necklace to go along with my emarald ring i have that i got for mother's day the year he was born. That is mason's birthstone


and melana got me the earrings, necklace and ring that is her birthstone...eeekkkk i racked up on the jewelry this year... I always get some type of jewelry but never dreamed i would have hit the jackpot this year. BUT I DID!!

and my mom got me a necklace i have been eyeing fron Anilu's shop also. I just love this piece to death...hell what am i talking about i love all her stuff.

I also received some GC's to various shopping stores that is burning a hole in my wallet.

I have been eyeing up her ugly dolls with the sewn tooshie crack since she made them and GUESS WHAT? Yep she sent yours truly one for christmas and not only me but one for Mason and Melana too...

Now she asked me in the card if I could wait for christmas to open themn...UGH NOOOOOOO!!!! I unlike Elizabeth (who put hers under the tree) tore open that bag she had them so nicely wrapped in faster than you can imagine!

One big Drunk and eating Fest!

Well I say we just get down to the nitty gritty.

We left early friday heading to New orleans, we checked in, dropped our bags and headed to Petunia's for supper. (You will soon find out how much i love this place) so anyway. I forgot to take pictures of my delish meal...oops!

Then we went to get our drink on while happy hour was still kicking strong. We walked up and down Bourbon

for a while then i just had to go to the cat's meow and i am so glad i did. I never laughed so hard. This guy gets up there to sing and I said oh look it's a cross between snoop dogg and coolio...when he starts singing he sounds JUST LIKE CHEF from south park....i was in tears... for your viewing pleasure

bwhahahahahhaha i am laughing thinking about this...okay so anyway...
then i head to razoo's and few other places...then i have to take my ass back to the hotel because i am drunk and i DO NOT WANT TO BE ALL YUCKY ON SATURDAY! We head back to the hotel and go to sleep and when i woke up OH MY GAWD!!! yep i guess i continued to still get drunk in my sleep because i felt like ASS!

Saturday i finally roll out the bed at 2 and head to petunia's for breakfast (yes they serve breakfast until 3 for those of us who party hardy) then i felt much better i got the white cloud omelette stuffed with asparagus (slurp). After breakfast we walk around as if we were tourist which is always fun in a city I am so familiar with...but none the less I was playing as if I was a tourist.

yep this is a guy who is so fasinating to watch. I wish i would have thought about it because i would have turned the video on and recorded a little bit of it.
Remember him Elizabeth? yeah he is still at it making his hundreds of thousands of dollars working the street corner.


this is the St. Louis Cathedral which is absolutely gorgeous inside. That is the longest freaking aisle to have to walk down when you are getting married...it goes for days and days...anyhow so i decided since I will never get a real tattoo i would get a fake one so i go see this dude who does the hollywood tattoos. They are like Henna tattoos but a whole lot better. Well i get a frog with a princess crown because that is all me....

Then the gang starts showing up so we go down to Lafittes on Bourbon and go have happy hour cause it started at 3 and i was 15 minutes late for the start of it ;)
Lush here has to get her monies worth. So we had the craziest, coolest freaking bartender. She was sooo freaking funny and she didn't play either. drew told us one time this guy was banned from the bar there when he was there one night and if you were banned from her bar and tried to come in and get all crazy with her she would literally get her knife out her purse and come from around that bar talking about either you can leave on your own not bleeding or you can leave all cut up and bleeding but either way you are leaving and your ass better not come back...ummm...yeah that is funny shit there...so anyway she decided she would clown around with us so she put on her "Beyonce Austin powers wig" for us and sing...


Now get you some of that wig...bwhahahahaha

So after that we head to the pub where we really tore it down...complete with male strippers. Now this one male stripper doesn't photograph well....let me take that back...his body photographs just fine but he was actually not that bad looking in person he is just not one to take great pictures..could have been the angle I was at too...who knows...and by this point i think i had already consumed 12 stoli razberry's pressed with sour and a lemon...yeah girl was feeling no pain... so without further ado get you some of this rock hard body....


that ass i swear i could have squeezed it...and the good thing about male strippers...especially gay male strippers, is they don't care if you touched them...but like a good girl i refrained...it was hard but i did...and that was about it really...nothing to exciting happened, nothing really to report other than we ate and drank like we had no business drinking and acted silly....

I will be back tomorrow or Friday with a New Orleans post and some ornaments and pages I have been working on. Mason has come down with RSV so I have been home with him. I could get use to this staying at home lifestyle.

Mini vacay time

I am leaving this Friday to go spend the weekend in N.O.
We booked our hotel in the French Quarter. friday night it will just be O'Neil and I and the rest of the gang will be coming on Saturday and they are staying at the same hotel too. it is going to be great fun. I was wishing that Elizabeth and Mike could come too so Pope (mike) and Perfect (O'Neil) could experience the moocho fun E and I have at the good ole Cat's Meow. I just don't know if i can go their without her so I guess Pat O's will have to do. Saturday morning I plan on getting up and dragging my tail to Petunia's for breakfast. Sluuurrrrp!!

Ekkk! I can't wait to get away for a little bit to be able to stay out as late as I want...to be able to get up when i want...eat when i want....hell even suffer from a serious hangover without the kids by my bedside wanting to know when am i going to get up....they think if they are up the whole house should be up! Now that is just nerve ;)

AY YI YAH!! I will be repainting this room after my kitchen

OUCH! that is mighty bright..wooo weeeee!!! but she is happier than pig rolling around in shit with it. I guess that is all that counts and thank goodness i don't have to look at it all the time...

Late Thanksgiving Post

better late than never...

I had a great time with the whole family on Thanksgiving. We ate and ate and well...we ate....but hey who's counting how many plates I devoured.
