So what can i say...i am addicted to these. Ever since i made the xmas one i cannot stop. This one was inspired by this talented lady and you can see what she did

Glad it is over

we had an awesome christmas. Mason was soooo excited for santa claus that he woke up at 3:45 a.m and came down stairs rooted through his stuff and his sisters stuff...woke us up at 4:15 and he was shaking he was so excited....geeezz!! Santa had just got to bed about an hour and a half before....but i was so excited to see him so excited that i rolled out of bed...made myself some coffee and listen to him rant and rave over all his things. I pleaded with him to let melana sleep until around 6 so he enjoyed the time alone with us ooh-ing and ahh-ing over his things...

oneil got me my 50 mm lens, a diamond necklace, a gift card to the buckle and some of my fav perfume by viktor rolf called flowerbomb...ohhh it smells heavenly...

i got him guitar hero world tour band set, the track packs volume one and two for the rockband , 5 brad butter shirts, and some chanel platnium cologne....

ohhh yeah and thanks to my mom who is the best i am now the proud owner of rock of love season 1....woot woot.... i have a date with mom on sunday to let her watch them and then on monday we are heading to new orleans for girls day with my aunt, my cousin and my moms great friend...gonna be good times...

i am busy

but that is ok. i am getting things done. Just not as fast as I would like to. I am impatient. I want everything yesterday.
I have 2 christmas gifts made and plenty more to do. oh well what get's done gets done.
I had good intentions on sending out xmas cards this year but alas no can do. I waited to late. This year has flown by and snuck up on me. I guess i should probably make a list of things i have already bought my kids and what else i need to get and for who. See what i mean...i am so disorganized...oh well
tis the season i guess.

I made this canvas at my LSS. it is based off the canvas they did at Wrapper's Delight a few weeks ago. i loved it so much i had to have one. Jennifer 9the owner of my LSS) drew another one out for me (because i CANNOT draw) and i am going to paint it too...that will take me a few minutes to do though because it has definitly alot of detail to it. i will post it as well when finished.


this was a class that Vanessa Hudson from Scrap Ect did at wrapper's delight...
i had so much fun re creating it...although i need to work on my shading...

the wonderful and ever so talented Anne-marie Tao nominated me for this very exciting award... thanks chica i appreciate it...

her scrapping skillz amaze me...she is the bomb...check her out if you haven't already i promise you won't be disappointed.
oh well off to the post office to mail out a huge box to my girl Gina. She is going to think she has died and gone to scrappy heaven.

next the topic of choice is Christmas.

i use to be an advid Christmas fan...i loved loved loved christmas but the last few years i have hated it less and less... i dread the whole tree and decorating thing. And that is sooooo (normally) not me. What has happened? As i sit back and think the only thing I can come up with is that the shopping gets me. As much as I love to shop i can't stand shopping for others. It bothers me because I think that what I am getting is cheesy or not good enough. It's a racket it my opinion.
When i was little my mom and dad made sure we had a great christmas. My brother and i really didn't get throughout the year so at christmas we got a living room full of awesome stuff. So of course i think my kids should too, BUT they get thoughout the year so when xmas comes there is nothing to buy them really because they already have it. Our fault YES...is it going to stop YES! because i went and shopped for them and the only thing we could get them was some things for the DS and the Wii....how sad is that. So this year i am putting my foot down and they will not have a big huge christmas like in the past. It stops this year...and maybe after this christmas the future ones will be better for me. We'll see...

What's your thoughts on Christmas? Am I the only one?
