It's Summer Time girls

here in the deep south. Speaking of summer time...Don't know if you know about this challenge from Noel called Summer lovin' but it is a great one to get those summer pics scrapped. If you are like me it will be last summer's pics but whatever right? as long as they are scrapped. i will definitly be participating in this challenge AND the new kit she has called Cotton candy is to die for. Can you beleive how fat that kit is? 20 pieces of patterned paper ALONE... WHOA!! that is all i can say. That booger is fat and packed!

WHOA is it June already?

Where in the hell has this year gone? Seriously! Last month was January wasn't it?
It just hit me like a ton-o-bricks in 13 days i will be 31 and i am looking forward to it...mentally i am 21 though...hehehehe not sure if i will ever grow up and put the big girl panties on but i will try. I still cannot beleive it's june already though...YIKES!!!

I am so far behind on challenges since i decided to repaint and move my scrap room. I did manage to squeeze this bad boy out thanks to inspiration from Rhian and Faygie on SIS. this was a photoswap i signed up for on Treasured Scrapbooking with Erin one of the DT members. So she sent me this photo of her darling little munchkin who got caught playing in her paint. I thought this page was perfect for the arsty little one she is apparently raising so i went that route with it. I love how it turned out now i want to make one for myself.



I took the dive and signed up for the ROCK OUT ATC swap on SIS which i am excited about. This will be my very first ATC swap and of course i am most excited about getting the cd back with everyones songs on it that they jam out to in their car. Love everything each person and chosen. Gonna be a good jamming cd. So if you see a crazy person playing air guitar or using her cup as a microphone going down the street...pay no mind...it's only me...
My chosen song is: Nothin but a good time by none other than POISON!! yeah that's right...i know you couldn't have guessed that {eyeroll}. So i have an idea of what i am going to do i just hope it is not to time consuming otherwise i will have to go to plan B...which plan A will be way cooler....

that's really about all for me...i am just trying to stay cool cause it is hot as hell down here already and we aren't even into a good summer yet....BLECH!!

So here is how it goes...
Saturday morning i woke up all giddy with excitement. i went and had my hair done at 11:00 went and had my make-up done at 3:00

i was doing my best impression of bret...lol

and was dressed an ready at 5:30. We (me and Mike) Meet Mike

(Mike has been my best friend since we were 4)headed out to the Hard Rock. We assed up the bar at the Hard Rock cafe for a few drinks and an appetizer to kill a few minutes. While sitting there Mike knows the bartender (go figure that fool knows everybody from AL to LA) and we start chatting about the concert and the chick next to us Nicole

is there to see him too so we get all cranked up. She had seats in the balcony but i was lucky enough to get her on the floor with us. So the night starts....
WOOOO HOOOOOO!!!! i get in line and i am front row on the floor center stage anxiously awaiting my luvah to come out! I kid you not i was like a teenage girl...no shittin here people...so anyway...the light dims...then i see big john...wooo hoooooo!!!!
and then the show begins....
all i really remember is holding my camera up so i could get good pics while rockin out but because of the movement in the crowd behind me, the lighting, and not to mention his ass was all over that stage working it they are a little hazy but none the less you get the picture!!

after the show we all went out to the local bar i love so much because they have the best drag shows ( i love me a gay bar) and i had oneil meet us out for about 3 hours of none stop fun with the drag queens...


yeah ...ummm...this was me taking a dancing break and drinking some water because i was still on a high from the concert and not to mention by this point i had a little bit to much to drink...okay who am i kidding...i was SLOSHED!!!! and lord knows i had to NOT be hungover the the next day to see bret again. This time he kicked off the grand opening for the Detox bar (and i needed detoxing) for memorial day weekend so i dragged my ass out of bed and brought oneil along with me...good times my friends....bret michaels 2 days in a row was the shiz nik baby!!

us chillin at the pool bar and me nursing a hangover...they say the best remedy for a hangover is to drink again so that my friends is what i did...and IT WORKS!!!
as i am looking around i notice big john up in the balcony of their suite overlooking to the pool area ...i did get a pic but i forgot to uploaded it..oh well... then later on oneil is facing me and he said..umm is that big john and i turned around and sure as the shit it was....well...you know this heifer had to go meet him so i busted my way through there and met him...that man is huge...i mean huge....i see why they call him big john

then i spotted the drummer for the band

poor guy i had him facing the sun...but i was so excited i wasn't thinking clearly...so he was struggling to keep his eyes open...lol..we had a conversation about that...i am brutal...hehehehe
then a little later i see vh1 filming for the top 20 countdown this weekend so i took some random shots of that....man the shit this girl goes through before they film is unbeleivable...i can't remember her name but whatever...she isn't important to me...lol


for this concert i was in front of the stage but the pool was between us so i was about 40 feet or less away from him...but i had a good view so it was good.
they had a bikini contest and i will spare you those pics...oneil wanted me to take them..lol

but he sure wanted to take a pic with this ms. thing here...she is a model for taunt and she models the ed hardy bathing suits...



you see that shirt...yeah that shirt is mine now....he took it off after the concert and i got it!!! woo hooo!!! it smelled like him and it had his make-up on a little bit of the collar.... i am not washing it and i am framing it. he wears the same cologne as oneil...ahhhhhhhh!!!! i am still sniffing it. I didn't get any pics yet of me in it but i will....Just as he was getting up close to me my camera battery died...so i didn't get a chance to get my picture made with him {deep sigh} but it wouldn't have mattered because right after that last shot was taken of him big john swooped him on by so they could get packed up to head to Iowa. I was quite bummed but right after that is when i got my shirt....so that put the cherry on my pie!

What a weekend....it was a blast!!!! and i am still walking on clouds smiling...my face hurts! But a good hurt!!

You peeps won't hear from me all weekend. Sunday I am getting up and hopefully don't have to bad of a hangover so I can make it out to the DeTox bar at the Hard Rock where VH1 will be filming the Top 20 countdown and Bret will be there as well.

Weekend Warrior

So this weekend i have been busy...super busy....i decided last week while at work i would take on a project....
I wanted to repaint my formal dining room (who needs that shit anyway...seriously!!)
to a different color so i could move my scraproom in there. It was the same color as my current scraproom...that burgandy red color..blech! I decided i wanted it to be green (sea green to be exact) the color is on the 5th row down and the 9th one over here i love green...all shades of green..anyway i am getting sidetracked...my accent color i chose chocolate brown. Beofre I moved in my new room i wanted to rip up the carpet and lay new floor down but oneil wants to wait until next year to do that so we atarted moving my stuff in. I am 80-90% moved with the exception of all the shit that was on my floor in piles and my shelves. those still need to be moved. he surprised me by getting my flourescent lighting and putting it up for me as well.

...when it is complete i will take more pics for now i need to organize and clean it up because lord knows unless Simone is coming with the video camera it will never look this "clean". I am a messy scrapper...i like to make a huge mess and i just can't seem to clean up after myself because then i lose the flow of creativity when it is too clean.

The only thing i got organized in that whole room was my thickers...what can i say...i am a thicker lover, whore, hoarder, whatever you want to call it that is me...just ask anyone they will tell ya...a girl can't have to many thickers..

speaking of thickers it killed me this week at SYC. i had to break out the foam stamps and use them instead of my beloved thickers... {deep sigh} it was fun though.

It's Friday I'm In Love

i thought my title was appropriate for today so i decided to wait and post this one today.

I have been psyching myself up all week that i am going to paint my new scrap room..yes i am trading rooms with Oneil...OY! that is going to be a chore..especially since i have soooo much to move....YIKES...oh well...and after i finish painting I am going to rip up the carpet (blech, i hate carpet) and put down faux wood looking roll out linolieum so if i get paint on it that's ok cause it's cheap floor. i create a huge mess when scrapping...i am excited.

For those of you that didn't see my room i will post it here for ya.

Now i cleaned it when i knew Simone was coming with her camera...the cleaning consited of shoving everything in drawers that weren't already full and make piles under my desk hoping she wouldn't see them...lol...i must say...i stuff well...hehehehe
