I am so overcome with emotion i really can't put it into words...i was shaking and crying. SERIOUSLY!!! tears streaming down my face because all i could think about was my paw paw waiting 43 years to see this. Unfortunately he never got to see the day his beloved saints would go to the superbowl. Every year they would lose ..year after year after year we'd always here "Oh well next year". We the next years never came. He passed away in 1989. I was 12 and to this day i can still hear him saying "oh well next year" will be their year. He never gave up on them.
They did it paw paw...this season is for you.... We will be celebrating a black and gold superbowl. If there is one thing we know how to do that is to be a Saints fan. You will find no other fans like us. Your ears will ring in the dome. That is why that wussy brett favre had to wear earplugs. We are loud and we will make you crazy but none the less we are the best fans in football. Rain , snow, sleet, hail it doesn't matter we are celebrating the best way we know how.

That's so cool to have a memory like that. I remember, as a little girl, spending the nights at my Mawmaw and Pawpaw's house and my Pawpaw would go to bed at night listening to the Texas Rangers games on the radio if he were too tired to stay up in the living room watching. :) Hadn't thought about that in years... thanks for the memory jog!

Thanks for your kind words Greta! So glad I have someone I can be a snotty nosed mess with and you're online, so you'll never even know. ;-) We're tackling it today and trying to find the best places for treatment. Just had a Starbucks and feeling refreshed. Now to find time to scrap. ;-)
