Happy Friday the 13th ya'll

I was so honored that tara from Up the Street Scrapbooking asked me to be a guest designer for the month of August. She is soo super sweet and hilarious. Her personality and sense of humor is alot like mine so we "get" each other. This month I got the Main Kit "Snowcones" and the project Kit "Travel Journal". I have had so much fun playing with it. After several months of a scrappy break it felt good to jump back in and get my feet wet again.





I did a project also with this kit but unfortunatly I can't show it. SYC was asked by ScrapStreet ezine to be featured in the October issue so I submitted that for the article.

Speaking of SYC get ya booty over there and play along with us this month. It's all about the tape.

Another layout i did was Mason and Melana's First day of school. I know i am running behind...cripes! anyway i used the sold out core Cirriculam kit for this one

First Layout Complete

for NoelMignon. This layout features product from Basic Grey's Lily Kate collection. I also used the coordinating ribbons. Down the left side of the paper I used Foof-a-la button in the Happily ever after collection. Those buttons are rocking. I am addicted to those now and I must get a pack in all the collection. I tell ya I am such a scrap junkie. For the "brackets" I used Swirly Whirlie chipboard by Rusty Pickle. (I looove this chipboard) I covered the chipboard with BG paper and used chipboard letters by the paper studio and inked the edges in green galore from Stampin' Up!

This pic was taken by moi when we went to Disney World in October. I am really please the way it came out because I had the family rushing me. Come on mommy! Hurry! Please get movin'! What are you doing? Let's go NOW!!!

Oh yeah Christy. Most of that list applies to me except the school age one because my kids aren't in school yet but rest assured that will be most likely what they are saying or thinking when they do get into school!!
