Boy oh Boy

Mason insisted we take his training wheels off so he could ride his bike like a "big boy". So we did and of course that wasn't so good. He couldn't get the whole balance thing. So i told him when he is 5 we will try it again. He agreed. Melana decide that was best as well because she was tired of walking behind him to "make sure he didn't fall".

He decided after about 20 times that he couldn't get it he would give up. To our suprise we turned around to see this:

WOW It's finished

that's right folks I started this layout in 2004. 2 years later it is finally finished. I actually forgot about it and I came across it a few months ago.

The fabulous Jocelynne sent me a font I was going to use but I never could get the damn thing to print...so I broke out the handy dandy cricut...god i love that machine....

Today I come home to my layout's that Alex did when she hosted a picture swap...they are even more fabulous in person...that was fun girl...thanks! I still have your's with the black and white photo of you and Lee...I will have to mail that out....
Also I came home to my Stampin Up kit as well....it was a goooood mail day around the Adams house. Will post pics of all that this weekend

RIP Charlie

On September 21st while at work I received a phone call from my mom stating my cousin Charlie had been killed in a 1 car accident. As I sat there in disbelief with the tears flwoing I couldn't help but to think about the 3 boys he will never get to see grow up.
When we were younger and in school we were close. I was the baby of all the cousin's. So of course they all spoiled me. Charlie always called me peanut and boy did I hate that. As you get older, graduate and start families and lives of your own you tend to drift apart and not talk or hang out as much as you use to. It's not that you want that to happen that is just the way it ends up. My dad's family is big and we all haven't kept up like we should. Me, mainly because I have moved and just don't go down as often as I should. It's truly ashame that the only time you see most ofthe extended family and some of the immediate family is at funeral's. I hate that it is this way. The last 3 funeral's have been with 2 of my dad's brother's and 1 of his sister's. The difference in those and this one for Charlie isthey got to see their children and grandchildren grow up. Charlie was just beginning his life. (He was in his early 30's). To me, that makes it worse.
His death was senseless. Choice's were made and in this case it wasn't thebest choice. Alot of blame is being felt to certain ones and alot of blame is being pointed to certain ones. In the interim his death has caused alot of grief to the family and friend's he leaves behind. Only time will heal those hearts.

May GOD rest his soul and heal the family and children he has left behind.

Random Ramblings

• I have been married now for 6 years (dating for 8) to find out today that O'Neil never had breakfast for supper...is that some crazy shit? I think it's weird but whatever. I thought everyone at one time or another has had breakfast for supper...guess I was wrong...
• We leave for disney in a few weeks and I have still yet to get the tickets....I guess I need to get on that huh?
• Wondering how the 10 hour drive will be with Melana...that shoudl be an experience in itself. Looked into flying but O'Neil thinks we should just drive.
• I need to get started on my hooded towels, burp cloths, cards and ribbon holders that I am going to sell at a craft fair Elizabeth and I are participating in sometime in the middle of November.
• Melana has been in time out 5 times this week at school and it is only Wednesday. I asked how many times today and they said one. Is it wrong to secretly be proud because she only went once today?
• I am thinking of putting a picture of my ribbon holder on my etsy shop to see if I can sell a few for some spending money at disney.
• Need to finish the Circle Journal I have been having now for several months and get it to Elizabeth. Thank goodness it's just 4 of us so it's really no rush. Can't wait to get mine back though.
• My house looks like a big train wreck and it is driving me crazy.
• Finally sent off my application to be a Stampin Up demonstrator. Maybe I can make so fast cash to support my scrapping addiction.
• Is it just me or is being a parent the hardest job you will ever have?
• Why is it that all I feel like I ever do is wash dishes, laundry, cook and clean? Should I feel guilty if I don't feel like doing any of it? Just saying fuck it and step over everything!

I think that's what I will do tonight...off to get ready for dancing with the stars

my face is so broke out it actually looks like I have tumors growing...nice i tell ya

A little this and that

okay so I am pissed...i had this post all done and ready to go and i hit the freaking X like a dumb shit instead of publishing. Yes folks..once again I have my head up my ass...

This tag I made her because she is a GB Packers fan...It was hard for me to do because I CANNOT stand Brett Favre therefore I don't like the packers. I grew up with is arrogant ass and he is a blooming asshole. Anywho. Happy Birthday girl hope you like.


Saturday Elizabeth and I went shopping. We had a good time and of course some great laughs at my expense. I was driving down the highway and I had just put a fresh piece of Dentyne Ice (Artic Chill) in my mouth and the juices went down the wrong pipe and I started choking and then gagging and hacking...It was hysterical and all I could think about was my mother in law a few weeks back when she swallowed a bug and did all her cutting up. I was in tears along with Eliz becase we were laughing so hard. Yes I am muti talented I can choke, gag, hack and laugh all at the same time. Can you imagine? That must have been pretty right?

Saturday evening I had an appointment to get color on these white trash 2 inch black roots I was sporting around so I decided we would all get a cut. Melana breaks and twists her hair so bad that she had damn near broke off all her hair. She is one of these kids that has to twist her hair. But the problem is she twist it so tight that she will have it in a knot around her finger and she can't get her finger out so she just pulls all her hair out...so I took her for the cut that I just abosolutely love on her. She was really mad with me for cutting it...she'll get over it though!

I like to keep Mason's hair really short because I like to put it in a faux hawk. He looks so cute with it like that. O'neil hates it...but when mama styles it mama styles it like she likes it...after all it is all about me...remember?

Yes I am alive!!

Man, I tell ya when you start gettting emails wondering where you have been because you haven't updated you know it's been awhile. Thanks Joninne for reminding me...lol...you to cristal...boy your friends get cranky when you don't update on a regular basis....

1st and for most look at what Elizabeth bought me...

fitting or what? It's a journal for me to write my thoughts in. That should help me alot when I have something that I must say (which is often) and I don't have time to blog.

Nothing much going on around here. I have , however, managed to pump out 3 pages this holiday weekend. Mom came over on Monday and we made a huge mess and scrapped our heart out. After we made a trip to Hobby Lobby of course. 40% off coupon can't let that go to waste , right?
Like I need anything else. It looks as if Hobby Lobby threw up in my living room.
You know it's a shame when you go in hobby lobby and you can't get excited anymore because you damn near have everything. Yeah that sucks...

Saturday I took the kids to Mikey's pirate party for his 7th birthday...it was such a blast....the kids all played really well together and had a blast. Momma however was tired after it was all said and done.

O'Neil sprayed primer on my ribbon box ( I swear I will take a pic soon) I am just in a funk I can't seem to get out of these days and I don't know why. I hate it though and I wish I would snap put of it soon. I can't hardly stand to be around my damn self and that is not like me.

Other than that boring mess I have nothin else to say so I leave you with my creations. Hope everyone had a great holiday weekend and here is to a 4 day work week...CHEERS!!




Oh and can I say...I LOVE LOVE LOVE my cricut....best purchase O'Neil has ever made....I think he would argue that but in my eyes it's the best.. (wink)
