Melana first said she wanted a Mermaid party now she said she wants a princess party because SHE IS A PRINCESS....(this is not going to be good if she keeps thinking like this)....how dare her to change her mind on me...humph!! Her birthday is on the 10th and i have yet to start the invites or plan a single thing...

i need to scrap..but i don't feel like it...this weekend and today (i'm off for mardi gras) would have been perfect to do it i could have accomplished so much but i chose to sleep and lay around instead...grrrrr!!!!

I am going to make a address book specifically for my blogger friends so I can keep everyone's addy's in one place instead of on scratch paper slung all over my craft area....

2 opposite ends of the spectrum

This describes Elizabeth and I. Our friendship started off with each other think the other was a complete bitch. I thought this of her because even though she is shy and reserved she comes off a bitch and snooty...she truly isn't AT ALL. Until she gets to know you she is kinda stand offish. She thought I was a bitch because I on the other hand say what i am thinking and if you don't know me i guess i tend to come off as a bitch as well. Whatever you want to call it...bold..strong...bitch..mean....whatever it all means the same.

It wasn't until O'neil was involved in a shooting when he was on duty that we truly became friends. That really didn't happen right away but she did reach out to me if I needed someone to talk to or a shoulder to cry on for support through that tramatic event. HOWEVER, the bond became stronger when we found out each other scrapped....IMAGINE THAT...and this day the hubby's call us "twins".

Feeling better

Okay so I am over it. I decided to have a long island ice tea and 2 beers.
Went to the kareoke bar, laughed until my face hurt, and came home.

Today is a much better day!

So I know most everybody out there {hearts} V-day but I on the other hand think it is stupid and dumb....it's a racket for the candy makers and the flower people and the people that make those stupid stuffed animals to make a boo koo amount of money. If you can't shower me with love and gifts throughout the year and cards just because then don't bother at all on the 1 day. That's just my views on it! At least I am married to a man that buys me things just because. That's a good thing. Flowers! DO NOT send me flowers I hate them and that is a waste of good money that I could have about some M-A-C or scrappy supplies or stamps with. They die in 2-3 days. M-A-C and scrappy's last a long time.

Anyone else with me? or am I the only one who hates v-day.

Did I mention it's stupid? Just checking...If I didn't now you know!

My Inner Diva

Man those girls Angie and Barb are seriously making me think about myself. I kinda like it because I never really can express myself in a way that I would like. For instance my compadre Elizabeth. That bitch can name 54396748563242 things about herself and her 7564537385 quirks she has. I on the other hand CANNOT. So the last post was really refreshing for me and eventually I will get around to doing a page in my all about me book I have going.

Correct me if I am wrong...but I have princess mentality to a certain degree (hince the crown for my banner) I think it should be all about me and that is that (hince it's a meocracy) Ya'll with me? I am very spoiled...i say i want i BETTER get or I will pout. Hubby use to spoil me , well let me take that back, he still does but not like he use to...i guess i am wearing him out, lol....
I think this all comes from being the only child and grandchild for 7 years and so what my mother didn't get me my aunt would, or my nanny, or my grandmother, who i call frannie , or all my other aunts so I always had what I wanted. I am by no means snobby though. I will speak to anyone and I don't meet a stranger. I guess my mom raised me right. :) i know it's reared but that just sounds stupi! You raise chickens and rear children! thanks momster! That is a trait I do love about myself is that no matter how rich or poor I am.... I am still me. Money does not change me and that I love!!

You know those people I am talking about? The ones who came from nothing... got something and now all of a sudden they are the best thing since slice bread....yeah! me too and that is not me!! Like J-Lo for instance...good for her to have come from nothing and made it but jesum criminy it is not necesary to act like she does. that is what i call a DIVA!! That is certainly NOT me!! Oh and please don't get me wrong I am not RICH by any means of the word....

Playing catch up

I just find that I seriously have to make time to blog and I don't like that. I don't like not being able to post regularly so my post aren't so stinking long. To sum it up here it goes:

Trendy Tuesday this week was about your hands...OH GOOD LORD!!
My hands are terrible...in fact...they are horrific....now these pictures actually make my hands and fingers look better than they really are...(just ask elizabeth)

I have this problem with chewing my nails..not only the nails but the skin around them. I have done that for as long as I can remember. I did however one time let my nails grow out and they were beautiful...i have pretty nail beds and gorgeous nails..when i am not tearing them to shreds. I peel the skin back until they bleed and I will tear layer after layer off of them. Hang skin is a no no....i have been known to rip someone's hang skin right off their fingers if I see it. I think it is gross and it shouldn't be there so I take it upon myself to take care of it for them. My skin up to my first knuckle is very scarred up from me "mutilating" (as oneil call it) myself for all these years. The most FAQ i get is...don't that hurt...answer...NO IT DOESN'T...i have done it for so long i am use to the pain..if any...the only healing rest my fingers and nails get is while i am sleeping and truth be know i probably bite and pick in my sleep. Now here is the kicker...I do not bite my nails or peel my skin when i have acrylic nails on...strange huh? Does anyone else have this problem? Just curious if I am the only whack that does.

Sometimes I get a little self concious about it but not always...i don't really care. With that being said that takes me to the quote for today over at fancy simple.
Basically who am I:
I am a confident girl with a fun loving spunky personality. I am gemini so there is always room for that evil twin to appear and believe me she does. Quite often actually! :) I shoot it from the hip, tell you like it is and i damn sure don't sugar coat anything. I am not very tactful about the way I say things which for people who don't know me always take it the wrong way. They find out real quick though that is just me and they all accept it. If they don't like it so what. What you see is what you get with me. I don't put on airs, I don't think I am better than anyone else, I don't care what people think of me and I damn sure don't care about being in some popularity contest. I am very forgetful, I repeat my self on occasion and my brain is steady going 90 to nothing thinking about 50 things at one time. I am pretty much a laid back go with the flow spur of the moment kinda gal but get me fired up and I will tear you a new one in a heart beat.

So with all that being said on my little tangent what about you..What kinda person are you? Hope on over to Fancy Simple and take the challenge.

I have done a little crafting this week...not as much as I wanted but the week is still young. My grandmother and O'Neil's grandmother's birthday was this week so I whipped out some cards and sent them on their way. I made them just alike so I didn't have to think to terribly much.


These are the goodies I bought from Noel. She is a blog buddy of mine I met through ScrapJazz and she is one cool chick. She has her own online store with some very cute things in it so me being me...one can't resist cute scrappy supplies. Anyone interested in checking it out her store is here go check it out and buy some things. She just recently returned from CHA so I will be keeping my eyes peeled for some of the few yummy things I saw at CHA through different sneek peeks.

First I would like to give a huge shout out to Deb. I ordered some letters from her last week and they are safe and sound in my hot little hands. I am itching to alter them, however I have not found that perfect soemthing for them yet. I would post a pic of them but they are for someone who reads my blog. As soon as I create and deliver I shall post the finished product. Lord knows when that will be. In my package she also sent me a happy for helping her out on her blog. I have been doing some serious scrappin lately and it's a good change from the kid's albums..i needed this break from scrappin kids all the time. So instead I been doing my Chicago book from CHA







I did the album in 8x8 and i really like working with that size. That to is something different than the standard size. 12x12 is my fav though.

For my stampin up workshop on the 11th I have been creating a few little things and I tried my hand at the really cutesy mailbox. I don't know what I will do with it accept showcase it with the papers that we will be using but none the less it's cute. I think I will put it on my desk for all the love notes my hubby writes to me....bwhahahahahahaha....NOT! About the only note i get is can you get me this and that at wal-mart....anyhow..it was fun to make.





Well that is about all for now. This is what happens when you get 13 hours of straight scrappin. I am hoping to belt out at least another 4 pages tonight...we'll see what happens...

I decided I would do the 50/50 board. For every $50 you purchase in stampin up products you get to pick a numbered square when the board fills up i will write all numbers down and have someone draw a number and that person receives $50.00 in stampin up proucts. Thanks Simone for that recommendation. This is going to be super fun to see how fast it fills up.

First Melana is sick....that is no fun....Mason is sick as well...it's raining and cold...i am cranky and i am super sad I didn't get to go to CHA. Oh well maybe in July again when it goes back to the fabulous city of Chicago...have i told you how much fun that city is? Man us fabulous girls, Elizabeth, me, and Simone tore that city UP!!
Maybe in 07! Then I will get to meet the spunky and oh so sassy Josie.
