Now that you have taken my beloved Pork Chops off the menu I no longer have a reason to eat there. For the last 12 years I have been eating the same thing. I have ventured out a few times to try new things on your menu, which by the way is a no-no for me, but I did and none the less was very disappointed. I do not like anything you have to offer on your menu other than your house salad. It is with my deepest regret that I must inform that I will no longer eat at your restaurant.

Both of those are birthday books like stampin up sells but of course this is much cheaper than buying one from them..and smaller

This is Melana and her BFF. They are almost inseperable. They are so cute together.

i do this every year so they can see what they got from year to year...i need to work on the last 2 years of melana's.
For christmas my girl Elizabeth made me the cutest things for my office at work. We always exchange handmade gifts (that is the best) and this is what i received:

2 embroidery hoops she covered with fabric and put these darling skulls on them

she knew how much i loved her hand drawn octopus so she made me a canvas of my own...eeekkk...LOVE!!

that's all i have for now i am off to the movies to see dog hotel with the kids.

Creating is a good thing

These are some of the things i have been working on here and there this weekend.

When i received jana's christmas card and newsletter in the mail with these pics i KNEW i had to do something with them. It was too perfect not too. So i created this using the sold out love song kit from Noel Nignon.


This is a magnet that came on our phone books. It advertises some law firm so i decided to cover them up and make them cute. I have about 20 magnets or more that i have pulled off the phone books at work as well. If you leave a comment here on my post I will be drawing a winner to receive this magnet. For this i used papers from the Sugar Cookie kit. There are only 4 kits left of that one at an amazing deal. This kit is also great for february. Since Noel is taking February off from kits this one would be great to scoop up on.


When i collect my thoughts fully on my wedding day i will add the journaling to the side but until then it will look like this...lol.....we got married on new years eve and this is the first wedding pic i have EVER scrapped. We did not have a big wedding because quite frankly i am not that kinda gal and i think it is a waste of money. So small and simple was for me.

WOW! Long time no blog

I have been enjoying life and my time off. it is hard getting back into routines after you have been loafing for weeks. I haven't made time to scrap or blog while off and actually it felt pretty good. I haven't hardly checked MB's and i definitly haven't checked blogs... I am going to assume my google reader is lit up like a christmas tree.. but i think i shall mark all as read and start fresh. Otherwise i will be very overwhelmed. So i will be checking on all of you the next time you update. hehehe

let's see... christmas was great, new years was fantastic...oneil and i had our 8th wedding anniversary on new years eve and we all (25+) dressed up in formals and tuxedos and went out for dinner and then a night on the town...we had a blast...


i did a page that was featured in pagemaps for Becky Fleck which was very exciting.

Over my 17 day vacation i went to new orleans with my mom and her friends to meet up with my cousin and my aunt. we had a great time...we ate...and walked around...and ate...and walked around and ate... seems as if all we did was eat...we laughed most of the time until we damn near wet ourselves...we did manage to squeeze time to go junkin...or as they like to call it antiquing...this cookie jar was worth a whopping $1200 big ones... WHOA!!


for those of you who care this is brangelina's house they have in the french quarter...they weren't home...LOL...

this was my beignets that i devoured...nothing like cafe du monde and some hot chocolate or cafe au lait.

let's see what else...oh mom and i watched season 1 of rock of love...she was deprived and had never seen it....i bet now she is scarred for life...she did say that was the true meaning of trash tv....speaking of...this season makes the girls from the past 2 seasons look like nuns...WHOA NELLY!!! can you say TRAMPTASTIC!!!

i know i am rambling but i thought i would just say hey...i am living...just working on assignments.... next time i update it will be more thought out and not so jumbled...my head is very jumbled right now and it hurts...

Glad it is over

we had an awesome christmas. Mason was soooo excited for santa claus that he woke up at 3:45 a.m and came down stairs rooted through his stuff and his sisters stuff...woke us up at 4:15 and he was shaking he was so excited....geeezz!! Santa had just got to bed about an hour and a half before....but i was so excited to see him so excited that i rolled out of bed...made myself some coffee and listen to him rant and rave over all his things. I pleaded with him to let melana sleep until around 6 so he enjoyed the time alone with us ooh-ing and ahh-ing over his things...

oneil got me my 50 mm lens, a diamond necklace, a gift card to the buckle and some of my fav perfume by viktor rolf called flowerbomb...ohhh it smells heavenly...

i got him guitar hero world tour band set, the track packs volume one and two for the rockband , 5 brad butter shirts, and some chanel platnium cologne....

ohhh yeah and thanks to my mom who is the best i am now the proud owner of rock of love season 1....woot woot.... i have a date with mom on sunday to let her watch them and then on monday we are heading to new orleans for girls day with my aunt, my cousin and my moms great friend...gonna be good times...
