My hubby, O'Neil, got a jeep for...well..nothing in particular..just because(i Bought it, aww that is sweet?) well i wanted to go mud riding and he said ...are you F*in crazy? I am not taking my jeep in the mud. he loves this thing. He has spent and ungodly amount of money on his beloved jeep to make it look "cool". he has a winch, he has the lights, he has this, he has big tires, he has that...so i thought ok we are going to have fun this summer...WRONG! It has been 2 years and all I here is no..no..no...no... so i stopped asking. I did have to ask him though why in the world would he get a winch on the front if he wasn't going to take it off road...his answer....
drum roll please.....
well because if people get stuck and I CAN GET THEM FROM THE PAVEMENT i can pull them out...
i just shake my head and say oh ok..makes perfectly good sense to me (eyes rolling)
then he tells me he needs a thing-a ma-bob..you can read that post here. FOR WHAT? It's not like you are climbing rocks and mountains in that thing...the only thing his "rock climber" (thats what his tag says) climbs is the pebbels he runs over on the skreet!
So anyways folks...back to the story....he pulls the jeep out the garage and washes it and pulls it back in. IT'S NOT DIRTY!! Now that you have the jist of it all you can appreciate the fact I finally got to take it in the MUD.. WOOT WOOT!! I am anxious to do it again that was a blast and the kids were saying let's do it again daddy...he thought we liked it to much so i bet we don't get to do it again for awhile.

I went mudding back when i was younger and it was a blast drinking beer and hanging out! Ahhh, those were the days....
Yay! This is so fun and one of the things I miss most about California. My hubby and I have two SUV's so we'd take both sometimes. We'd go out with tons of friends and have the best times getting stuck and pulling one another out, etc. I've still got a dent in the door of "mine" from hitting a tree stump, and another we laid right smack on a tree (which separated us from a small little cliff). We drove clear to the top of many mountains, and even got stuck in the sand dunes on a beachside once (always let air out of your tires).
It's amazing what you can explore from the comfort of your car. Now that he's tasted it...surely he'll be heading out more often!!! :)

That is just a big puddle, right?? I thought it was gonna be a big mud pit but that looks like a puddle.
Did he take it directly home after this and wash it?
baby steps girl...baby steps...it was a deep mud puddle...and yes he went and washed it straight afterwards in the automatic car wash until he could fine tune detail it!!
NO, he's not supposed to wash it right after! He's supposed to impress people with all the mud! What a nut!

You should let it crust up on the Jeep for awhile before you wash it, though.
