Busy going out of my mind

So with all the family drama and stress I have had these past few weeks I needed some paper therapy. This weekend since O'Neil had to work a double on Saturday and day shift today I decided what better time to just let the kids tear up the house, TRY not to worry about it, TRY being the keyword and scrap.

This weekend was TTS's birthday crop so I participated in all the make and take's I could in between spankin's and cleaning up messes. The first make and take i did was making a paper bag album. Believe it or not this was my first time doing it. I had everything just never got around to doing it. It was fun.


this is the front. I will change out the white brads for brown ones as soon as I can find them. I am working in a horrible mess right now and it is driving me hommicidal.

Then i did Nancy's challenge which was to make the first 2 cards in a "deck of me" card set. This was inspired by Emily Falconbridge's deck of me she has been doing for quite sometime now. For this make and take i chose to use the kid's go fish cards because they were bigger. We had to make the cover on one card and the next card was question # 1 which is Something you are proud of: Well I didn't like the way my cards turned out so I am redoing them. They looked horrible. I am so not use to scrappin that small. So when it is finished I will post.


This is for Effer dare number whatever. I normally don't go to that blog but for whatever reason i checked it out in this particular week and it was do a layout of you rolling straight out the bed..ummm...okay that is scary. I did the layout but still no pic...hehehehe


This was made for Noel's site. I just couldn't wait to get my hands on these little fella's. Aren't they the cutest? She is currently out of stock which is good for her bad for you. So if you want some she will have them back in stock soon. I think she sold out of them in like 2 days. They are Sassafrass Lass stamps incase you are wondering.

YES YES YES...the jeep finally went into the mud..(puddle that is) but non the less it was there and i jumped out and took pics cause I knew no one would believe me if I told them. WOO HOO! this was in April...rest assured we haven't been back through the mud or puddles since...i figure baby steps is good right?

so they say it's my birthday....

da nah na na nah na! Yep that's right friends....i am celebrating my big 3-0....when people ask how old i tell them 18 with 12 years experience....it's funny to watch them do the math...try it sometimes...it's a boot!

So anyway...I had to work today (boo hoo) so O'Neil came to my work with my present because as of when i left this morning it still hadn't arrived. Luckily for him it did by lunch. The second part of my present won't be here until Tuesday but at least I have one new gadget to play with....

I feel like a complete moron

First let me thank everone who voted for my layout at TTS for layout of the week. I won!!! woooohoooo so now I go up against some serious mad talent for the next 3 weeks until the final. Thank you so much means alot to me.

Now for the complete moron part. I like to also hang out at Busy Bess (yes i am a MB whore)
the girls are great just like the rest of the boards I choose to associate myself with. Well I am tooling around and i see a thread Layout of the Day's so I am being nosy and looking around the past weeks layouts that were chosen and I see my name....wh? are you kidding me? I got LOTD for June 7th...yes people 7 days ago and I am just now seeing it....NOW I FEEL LIKE A COMPLETE ASS...i kept getting comments on the layout (the flossy bossy one with all the fabulous buttons around it) but no one said congrats on LOTD so I thought they were just lovin them some buttons like i do right...ugh WRONG! Sheesh.... i had to post and i was totally feeling like an idiot. I have to get it in gear and pay attention to my surroundings I guess...they prolly think i am some ungrateful beotch.... {hang head down shaking it}

My new do

i made an appt to get my roots did because girl was sho looking like peppy lapew with the grey roots...yes i greyed very early in life and if i were to let my hair go i would be 80% salt and 20% pepper...well because you know i am only 21 (snicker) i cannot be grey that early so i decided it was time for the root job. In the meantime i decided i would whack this shitoff. It was past my shoulders and just stayed in a pny or a clip 90% of the time...why bother so...needless to say i picked a style out and ran with it.

WHile sitting in the chair while my color was processing. i started to feel so nervous nad sweaty...billy jo aske dme if i was ok and i said yes but truly i was nervous. Now i have always had short hair except my junior and senior year in highschool so this was nothing new. But this time it was . I don't know if it's because when i decided to let it grow it was SUPER SUPER short and took me 2.5 years just to get it to my shoulders (yeah that's how short) or what it was. She tells me it comes with age.
HUH? what? are you trying to say i am old? so anyhow i chalked it up to she was prolly right. I went through with it and sooooooooo glad i did...i love it....
now let me say it was fixed this am just like the pic BUT we had a horrific lightening storm and i had to get out in it so the rain was not nice to it.
I will get better pics but for now you will get the just of it and the color.
OH i {heart} red but it doesn't heart me....with my hair being so dark red is HI maintenance on my black hair but i will deal with it for now...who knows next time i might go blue or something...ya just never know with me.

Challenges everywhere

First I would like to say I LOVE challenge sites. Makes you think, makes you have to stay focused and it always helps when there is a chance at winning a RAK. For me challenges push you to scrap something you wouldn't have ordinarily thought about. Or in my case challenges just make you scrap PERIOD!

In other news. I have been a scrappin fool here lately. my area is a mess and yet it feels so good just to be able to get alot done. It all started really Memorial Day weekend with the 7 layouts I did while visiting my mom. It's been on like a chicken bone ever since.

I got my Primas in from Noel Mignon and can you say OY! OMG. they are just to pretty to use but I will....as a matter of fact she shipped them to me at work and all i could think about was going home to use some of them. That is just what i did I went home and used some. I even stickled them up (gasp!) To see the ones i got go here, here and here
Can you say YUMMY. I want the whole renassiance collection they are all so ohhh la la. She has them on sale too...now what more can you ask for? Dang you Noel for having such awesome stuff. I have changed my whole thoughts on working now. i use to work for insurance now i work to buy supplies. Oh well I guess it could be worse.
