Blech!!

I have been sick..very sick...deathly sick....dog ass sick...wanna know what is wrong?
Well there is a list:

The flu....that is always real fun {eyeroll}
Pharengytis (sp?)
Strep Throat ( YAY! i love strep throat on top of the flu...{mad clapping going on (eyeroll)
and... yes people there is more

Inner ear infection ..

so yes I am a BROKE DOWN BITCH who has been out of commission for days now..
Today i feel a little better but the doc said tomorrow i should feel even better than today..we'll see...

So while I have been broke down and out of it today my girls ( E and Simonetell me that Josie is ALSO coming down to see E and I for e's birthday in February! YAY! I am so excited...she booked her tickets today...or maybe yesterday...who knows cause i don't...all i know right now is lots of meds and this wooozy feeling of being high as a kite...Legally that is =)
so anyway...i got sidetracked...Josie is coming to see us and I am stoked...now we are trying to hound...errr...talk Noel into coming down. I think Simone is all over trying to find her a cheap ticket...we'll see what happens....YAY!!! okay well i am off back to bed...i fell funny...the meds are kickin my ass full force...so umm...yeah i am alive (in case you were wondering) and I will be back full force soon...I HOPE!!!

Just some scrappies

Nothing really going on this week other than i think i am trying to relapse in being sick again! I feel like dogshit. My eyes hurt, my head hurts, my whole freaking body hurts...Blech!

in other exciting news though our dear dear dear beloved Josie might be coming down also for E's birthday get together with our blog/scrappy friends...so exciting...i sure hope she can!! Plane tickets are freaking ourageous right now...they want your first born.

I finished the rest of the layouts i did for Scrap Diner. The challenge blast is over. I sure hope the mojo don't stop because girl has been on a roll i tell ya...






Simone, Elizabeth and i started a new thing among ourselves where we are going to challenge each other every week to use up some things that we are either hoarding or forget about and never use it...

i went first and my challenge was ribbon..i have more ribbon than the law should allow so i took some inspiration from elsie and rolled with it




and then Elizabeth picked stickers...OH LORD!! and not only stickers as if that wasn't bad enough but we had to use at least 10 stickers and numbers and letters DID NOT COUNT! wha? are you kidding me...that was my reaction...holy shit what am i going to do...E are you effin kidding me? her response..no bitch i am not...do it!!
damn..alright already!! So this is what i came up with for that challenge



Simone's challenge is use christmas paper for a non christmas layout...Good lord here we go again...but i have something in mind for that one...I THINK! i'll post when finish if it turns out..if it doesn't just forget i said anything...

It's always something

good lord..stuff to say and show.....i have to appologize for the bad blogging. i am trying to get better i just have been swamped.

**tap tap** ahem...excuse me can everyone hear me? are you still with me? lol

first mason has been real sick..we ended up having to take him to the ER last wednesday..he is fine now but it was pretty scary for a while. he had a SEVERE case of bronchotis.

I want to give a shout out to my girl Karen who sent me some awesome ggodies from her etsy store. I so can't wait to use them. I got the S.W.A.K ones....eeek...and she made me this ca-yute little book and used her bind it all...i have already altered it and it is almost complete. I have all my blog buddies addresses, phone numbers and most birthdays in it so far...all in one place...agghhhh this will make my life so much easier.
WILL TAKE A PIC OF MY GOODIES AS SOON AS I GET A CHANCE...

also i need to give a huge shout out to Jennifer. She has a pink itty bitty xmas tree for sale and i wanted it so bad (i have since bought one) and she said it was already spoken for but she would like to send me goodies and boy did she. She sent me some christmas goodies that will look perfect in my house next year. i cannot wait. Thank you so much jennifer....i am sorry girls it took so long but i have been non stop...and to think i though 08 would be less busy..hmph...who was i kidding...but it's been a good , fun, crazy busy.

and ummm what is up with heath ledger? that is so sad!

Scrap-Diner's challenge is kickin and we have had a lot of particpation. It is so much fun to meet new people and see others work...very inspirational. I want to thank everyone!!

Challenge Blast

So today officially kicked off the CHallenge Blast at Scrap Diner. It is 8 days worth of challneges....don't be alarmed it is just one a day.

Today Nancy opened the blast up with layering. I have had such a great time doing it. Here are a few of my layouts

I have been super busy lately with DT stuff at Scrap Diner. We have a week long challenge that gets kicked off for 7 stargiht days starting Friday. There will be one challenge everyday so I have been working like a mad woman on that and trying to catch up on other challenges as well.
I did however, roll a few challenges into one. That always makes life a little easier. i can share this layout because it was for nothing in particular...just a little personal challenge between jan and I.




Okay who is with me on Rock of Love? Yep i have to say...i love some trash tv and i just can't get enough of that show. It is down right FUNNY!!! and what the hell is up with "frenchie" good god woman back away from the botox injection needles....her damn lips look like they were going to explode any good ole minute...litterally her ass could not talk right they were so big....MOVE OVER ANGELINA THERE IS A NEW PUCKER IN TOWN!!! eeewwwww!!!! So anyway at least for one more season i can look at bret michaels!!

now lets talk about scott baio...poor guy!! he has some serious relationship and commitment issues!! god belss her for putting up with him!! she must be a hellava woman!! LOL!

Back to the old Grind!

yep after 16 days off it was time to return. Blech!
Let's see while i was out i:

*scrapped
*cooked {gasp!}
*cleaned
*relaxed
*lounged
*didn't get out my pj's for 4 days straight (i did shower and put fresh ones on ;0)
*made melana throw all her toys away...yep sure did!!
*replied to 386452672727 emails
*became a DT member at ScrapDiner

and i am sure there is more but me and lists never get along. I need to get better at those to stay somewhat organized or even just to jog my memory.

I have been using the heck out of my mini journals *E* made me as a xmas gift.
I have been writing challenges down in them and just random things i've heard or thoughts on scrapping.

These papers are so delish! I had such a blast playing with the tinkering ink and luxe lines. And if you can believe this I DIDN'T HAVE THOSE LINES!! umm yeah so that made me happy!

This one i did for Sher at Scrap Diner for giving me the opportunity to be on her DT. I had these papers and they are old but i couldn't throw them away. I knew i would need them one day!


this one i decided i would use some of that old BG boy OH boy paper from a few years ago...i need to move this stuff on out..i am really digging using up the old stuff right now to make room for ne...lol

*** i just bought the Elsie's 52 challenges book with a 40% off coupon at Hobby Lobby (yes i know i am very late but).... OMG! why did i wait forever to get that book...it is sooo freaking inspiring... I am totally loving it! I plan on taking quite a few of these challenges if not all of them to be totally honest!

***i had ordered 2 uglies from Mary Ann's Etsy Shop for a friend of mine who is having a baby. i ordered one for her and one for the baby! She fell in love with mine so much i figured that would be just a cute little extra happy for her. Her shower is Sunday and I am bursting at the seams to give it to her. I HATE suprises! Christmas time KILLS ME!!
anyway so i open the box to look at these cute fella's and what do i see....

yes this fabulous ugly....eeeekkkk!!! i need to take a better pic of her but it was nasty outside when i got her....i have named her Calypso and my other other is Calliope!!

so really other than having to go back to work and mad busy working on DT stuff and trying to get my life back in order and on a routine after 16 days off...nothing really much happening... I am going to get better about blogging though!!

I'll be making my rounds by the weekend...cut me some slack i have over 300 blogs in my bloglines ;)

Happy NEW Year

um yeah he hated me for this pic..can you tell he was excited to be standing there with his hat on....bwhahahahahahaahahha


NEW being the key word...E and I have been telling ourselves that this year just HAS to be better than 07. 2007 SUCKED!! I have lots of things to share and I am so excited.

I have been chosen to be on the Scrap Diner DT until the end of April. I am so excited. Sher is such an awesome lady and quite funny too ;) I have been hanging out there alot since the site and store opened and I really really really like it. Lots of mad talent and a very friendly group of chickas!! EEEKKK!!!! so excited.

New Years Eve was my 7th anniversary. We went over to Elizabeth's and hung out. Mike grilled hamburgers and hot dogs and we just relaxed, exchanged our gifts, shot fireworks and played with our cameras and got some really cool shots.





Elizabeth made me some really awesome christmas presents. We said this year and probably every year from here on out we will hand make our gifts to each other. I like a dumb ass forgot to take pics of what i made her so I have to wait until she takes them and sends them to me.
This is what I received though and i can't wait to put this in my office

and a scarf she knitted for me

this is the softest scarf and with the temps dropping around here like they are suppose saying this will come in handy
and i also got little journals to jot things down in and she did 12 of them one for each month

and this is my anniversary card she made me and slipped 3 coupons in it good for FREE babysitting...SCORE!!!! LOL...but they expire when they turn 18 ;)

These are a few layouts I have been working on while i have been slumming around in my pj's on vacation since the 21st!






When I first saw the BG Obsure line I wasn't that interested in it. It just didn't do anything for me which was very disappointing but E kept saying oh I love it and I was like nah not getting it. So i went to oour local LSS and she had it so i bought 1 sheet...just 1 and i said okay i will give this a whirl and see what happens...it turns out that i really really really love this layout. Now here's to hoping i can stick to my "goals" for 2008.
