Happy Hump Day

Nothing much going on around here other than i have been scrapping my ass off and it feels sooooooooo good. It's all DT stuff that I will be sharing a little at a time in the next few weeks. Using Noel's FABULOUS kits

My friends lil cutie patootie...this child has so much personality.
I used a penicl lines sketch for this one to get the mojo flowing and ever since i scrapped this one a few weeks ago i have been on fiyah! Sometimes you just need that push.

Saturday i am looking forward to my sister and i hanging at my mom's for some Movies and popcorn in our pj's. Other than that life is quite boring.

The current challenge over here is well underway and it's a fun one.

i ate like a pig
i drank like a fish
i danced like a fool
i high fived everyone at my house 1256322658565 times that night
i yelled for my boy shockey until my throat hurt (i have lost my voice)
i screamed at reggie bush for dancing side to side instead of running straight... (damn him)
i chest pounded oneil about 15 plus times.. he said i was going to pop a boob or something...LMAO
i hung myself out the window of my car screaming WHO DAT to everyone i saw!
i chewed all my fingernails until they were bleeding and the skin too.
i called all my family in new orleans and we screamed on the phone like a bunch of drunken fools.
and last but not least

i CRIED LIKE A BABY!!!!

i was very productive crafty wise this past weekend and it felt oh so good. Now if i can continue I'll be all good in the hood. Elizabeth and I made a bunch of saints stuff. Good times ahead on Sunday my friends....

WHO DAT!

Saints going to the 305..

I am so overcome with emotion i really can't put it into words...i was shaking and crying. SERIOUSLY!!! tears streaming down my face because all i could think about was my paw paw waiting 43 years to see this. Unfortunately he never got to see the day his beloved saints would go to the superbowl. Every year they would lose ..year after year after year we'd always here "Oh well next year". We the next years never came. He passed away in 1989. I was 12 and to this day i can still hear him saying "oh well next year" will be their year. He never gave up on them.

They did it paw paw...this season is for you.... We will be celebrating a black and gold superbowl. If there is one thing we know how to do that is to be a Saints fan. You will find no other fans like us. Your ears will ring in the dome. That is why that wussy brett favre had to wear earplugs. We are loud and we will make you crazy but none the less we are the best fans in football. Rain , snow, sleet, hail it doesn't matter we are celebrating the best way we know how.

WHO DAT BABY!!

Good Morning! I don't know about you but we are gearing up for the Saints game today. WHO DAT! I live in Saints Nation and this season has been crazy and I am totally loving it.

Anyway on to scrappy stuff: I have a whole alphabet of wooden letters from deb over at Say It with Letters and i really didn't have a need for the X so I decided to make something "lovey" for Melana's teacher. Truly I don't dig Valentines Day AT ALL so this was way outside my element. As a matter of fact i despise V-day...such a stupid holiday in my opinion. LOL...anyway just a little something. I painted the letters and then used the Shimmerz Blingz over the top and added some embellishments and ribbon using the paper doll kit (sold out)



The next was a hat i picked up right after thanksgiving at Hobby Lobby for 90% off so i think i paid like .60 for it. I love when i can find deals like that. I covered it with paper and a few embellishments from the Mill Street Kit. I figured this year for thanksgiving i can hang it in my kitchen with the rest of my goodies i have made throughout the year for the walls and such to replace my everyday pictures.

Thinking about what my one little word would be this year i decided it would be "UNCLUTTER".

i have so much clutter in my life and my brain. It's time to purge, refocus, get it together.

As soon as i collect my thoughts i shall scrap a page and share.

a little late

So i am a little late but what's new right...

I can't seem to get my rear in gear. I have a lot swirling in this pea brained head of mine these days.

Of course New years Eve is our anniversary (9 years) and so we celebrated true greta style.... heehehehe

a group of us went to new orleans got rooms and partied like rockstars... Good Times!

Me+Pneumonia=death warmed over

In case you were wondering....I have had pneumonia for the past week and some odd days...i really thought i was dying....felt like i was drowning. They wanted to put me in the hospital but i said HELL NO! i'll do better at home. So i have become the queen of daytime t.v. and the Game show network.

Now i am back to my regularly scheduled program :)
