The Devil wears a Dance suit

Where do I start....let's start by saying today was NOT a good day...I woke up and felt it was going to be a pretty good day but it turned out to be very shitty and only got worse. I will spare you all the drama and get to the point of this title. Yes I know you are wondering but you prolly know what is coming next.

Melana..oh melana....today was her first day in dance. She is taking Tap, Jazz and Ballet. She has been so excited for a few weeks now since I enrolled her. She has been prancing around here in her tap shoes driving me homicidal and prissing around so I thought ok this is going to be ok. WRONG! She gets herself kicked out of dance class on the first night...YES SHE DOES!!!!

When we got home she was so excited to put her stuff on and pose for me...see exibit A:

in exhibit B she is telling me how she can't wait to get to dance and learn "taps" and "ballerina"

Exihibit C is her walking out to the car to rush off to dance and make it for 6:00

So zoom ...zoom....off we go...get to dance rush in...wait around a second and it's time for all the 3-4 year olds to go to the studio. Melana was ok when I walked her down the hall to their studio and when we turned the corner and went in she FLIPPED HER WIG...the DEVIL came out in this child....now you know she is BAD...but I have never seen her act this way....I was MORTIFIED....so the lady came and got her and held her and was telling me to go on and go she will be fine....so i go and wait in the waiting area...I could here her screaming bloody murder way up in the front of the building. So i am thinking holy shit...all these moms are looking around like what the hell is going on back there and they are looking at me and by this time I am really getting pissed off.....Melana knows that if she acts out usually someone will give in...(not me 3/4 of the time but her daddy will) so she is having a temper tantrum so i scoot on back there and get her calmed down enough that she is starting to participate (if that is what you want to call it) the crying stopped at least. So i get her to actually get up on the wood flooring and she is mocking the teacher and the other NICE WELL BEHAVED little girls (except for one other one who was taking after melana's lead) and i get her to where I am telling her I have to go out and get her ballet slippers because they are going to switch shoes soon. That was ok until I was gone for 2 long and she started the shinanigans all over again. So of course by this time I have had enough of her and she is going back in dance class and i didn't care if she was mad with me or not. She wanted to do this so she was doing it... NOPE! WRONG AGAIN! THe class was already so many minutes into it that they lock the door...You could not even imagine how pissed off and embarrassed I was.
Melana is know for her public tantrums and saying out loud in public how we need to stop "beating her" when no one is even touching her. She makes up all sorts of crazy crap and I am tired of it. Just tired of it... I CANNOT HANDLE HER!!! SHE IS OUT OF CONTROL. If she would have been first there would be no mason and that is a fact.

So anyway....this weekend I scrapped a few pages nothing spectacular. Not sure how I like the,...the one of me and oneil is growing on me and i am thinking i might like it but still not sure yet.

i know it is kinda dark but the flash was to bright so i put my hand over it and i am to lazy after the night i had to photoshop it

i am still not liking this one no matter how hard i try...oh well win some lose some.....

hope all is well on the earth and please please please everyone pray I don't commit myself in the mental hospital soon cause I am really thinking that will do me some good! ;)

So i get an email from Josie telling me if I get offended by this email she can't be my freind anymore..lmao.....well I am like wh? me? nah...she apparently don't know me to well...because I am raw, uncensored, uncut and well really don't care what people think...so with that being said...i knew this must be some good shit right....WELL RIGHT cause it was and I swear I haven't laughed that hard since the cat's meow days with Elizabeth over a stupid bracelet..long story that no one can appreciate but us...but anyway so this is the shit she sends me and it made my day and it made my tomorrow cause I am still laughing

To sum it up she said the rocks around the pool were getting on her DAMN NERVES! Reason # 2563258 I should get the mother of the year award.

Elizabeth and I hit the antique store where I scored this kick ass sign for my laundry room.

yep and right underneath it is the clothes hamper where they have to put their laundry... I just love that thing.

Nothing much really new happening except Mason started swim lessons AGAIN and Melana starts dance on the 11th. I have a feeling I will be running ragged for a while.

I am going to try and start bloggin more. I know I still need to get more pics up of the house but at this moment I can't yet. Although I guess I could post my room since right now it is SPOTLESS and everything is in it's place. Rest assured it won't stay like that much longer.

When i am done cutting and taping i throw the rest away and BOY DOES THAT FEEL GOOD!

D= doctor’s…all my doctor’s have to be good looking or somewhat cute. If they are not I will find a new one that is. Why you ask? Because if I have to sit and wait on one it needs to be worth my wild to do so.

O= officer- I am married to a police officer

L= labor- never went into labor on my own with Mason but while waiting for a scheduled c-section for melana I was in full blown labor..OUCH!

O= obscene- I cuss A LOT and I don’t care if you are 18 or 80 you piss me off I will cuss you out quick fast and in a hurry. Just ask Elizabeth she can tell ya ;)

R= road rage- I tend to have road rage when people drive like idiots. Old folks are the worse…when you get in the car you shit and get….DON’t putt putt around like you have no where to be and back traffic up for miles. Old folks have no business with a license. NOE WHAT SO EVAH!!

E= ears= I have always had ear problems. My left ear drum ruptured when I was 7 or 8 and my right ear is shot to hell as well from dispatching for all those years. I guess it doesn’t help that I also listen to music as loud as I can when the kids aren’t in the car. LOVE my loud music.

S= sarcastic. I am very sarcastic and love others who can dish the sarcasm as well…need I say more…

This is oneil with justice back in 1998. He was only 23 at the time....i tried to talk him into modeling but he looked at me as if i had 10 eyes on my forehead and said umm...no i don't think so....WHATEVAH! I was trying to cash in...lol....oh well can't blame a sista for trying.
So anyhow even though i am late for Noel's noun challenge I am trying to play catch up and since i wasn't feeling the whole kindergarten page i was trying to make for mason. So this one will instead.

Yesterday I got LOTD at Busy Bee for my cover to my "this is me" journal. That was real sweet of them.

Nothing much else going on except work and the lack of non cooking goin on in this house. Have I mention how much I hate to cook? I would rather take a beating with a stick with thorns coming out of it than to have to cook.

Hope all had a fantastic sunday and I am off to fix some chef boyardee ravioli...;)

How's the house coming you ask?

Well....considering I said screw it...well i didn't say screw it i really said fuck it, i decided i would devote sometime toscrapping for a minute or two. So amongst all the mess I have in my room and no table set up I decided to cop a squat on the floor and attempt to finish my noun layout I started for Noel's challenge but I am just not feeling it and since I missed the freaking deadline anyway I figured if I am not feeling don't finish because I will end up HATING it.
I don't know about anyone else but I have a hard time scrapping events...stupid i know but i do. The layout is Mason's first day of school....easy peasy i know but I am just not feeling...maybe it's because I am still not over the fact that he is actually in Kindergarten...{sniff sniff}.

I cannot wait to get my grubby hands on this one so it can sit with the rest of my kits i have ordered in the past few months screaming cut me...scrap me...fondle me....give me attention instead of neglecting me. OH well...guess i will get to them when i can..in the meantime they can all keep each other company!

Since I decided to take a break from some of the moving madness I sat down and started my mini journal for this. Right now this is about all I can handle because it is mainly about journaling your thoughts, hobbies, ect... so not much scrapping involved unless you want too. In my case I can't find shit in here so not a prob for me...lol...

Have i ever mentioned my LACK OF organizational skillz....it's sad really...I have to depend on my girl Elizabeth for help and right now she is busy as shit too like me so I am S.O.L. She helped me organize all my paper and that was a chore. Thank the lord for her because she swears I am color blind and I would have had crap all screwed up. I personally think she is the one color blind but hey I don't argue with her ;).

oh yeah one more thing i have to share....it concerns Melana {eyeroll}
so this week we are outside and she is walking on the pavers around the pool and we have river rocks...so she is walking along and she missed one well she steps in the rocks...she proceeds to say "these rocks are getting on my damn nerves" ....bwhahahahahahahaha so yeah i am rolling on the ground (another reason i should get the WT award) anyhow....i am trying not to make a big deal and hoping nobody else heard her...WRONG! About 3 seconds later oneil said WHAT DID YOU SAY? she put her hands on her hips...jolted that hip to the side and said " I SAID (very sassy tone) these rocks are getting on my DAMN nerves.....oh hell...i for sure lost it then.....i am crying i am laughing so hard...i just could not help it...she sounded SO MUCH like me it was scary. So of course i get an ass chewing because he says she gets that from me (she does) and that i need to watch that word.. {eyeroll}

It's been so long

I just don't know where to start...so i am warning you now...SUPER random post...

My things to do list is growing by leaps and bounds, there is not enough time int he day, Melana is still bad as hell, Mason is loving school, I am loving my king size bed (how did i ever sleep in anything smaller) my scrap room is still under construction but progress is being made and work is...well...it's just work

Yes i am alive

and I am boo-hooing something fierce...Mason started Kindergarten on Monday and mama didn't do so well.....i lost it...i cried like a baby...all the way to work all day at work and even on Tuesday I was still a lost puppy. Oneil took me out to the Outback last night for dinner as a happy to tey and get me to snap out of it.





i have some of him getting on the bus but i am too lazy to blog them right now...isn't that terrible? I am such a slacker...i know but truly i have enjoyed taking a break from blogging. But when I get settled I am *sure* I will be back with a vengence

well because when I finally thought about taking pics....it was dark and everyone is in bed so i just decided to take a few pics but they didn't turn out so well so i will show you the most important room in the house


my scrap room...now the walls are not that dark...they are more of a red but i will eventually paint them a different color down the road. For now it will just have to do because quite frankly i am tired of painting and it is not a bad color just a little dark for my liking sfor a scrap room. I want something bright and in your face.

I took some more pics but they didn't do the rooms justice cause of lighting so I will retake.

I did get a pic of the birthday goodies that fabulous Josie sent to me. IT was so nice in the middle of moving week to open my mailbox and get some scrap love.

she even sent my a pic for my blogging/scrapper friends book. I love this girl. Can't wait to meet you IRL!

For now I don't have anymore pics but I will soon...promise....I am still trying to get the scrap room organized....do you see that mess.....it is driving me CRAZY!!

Maybe the next pic everything will be put in its place and all shelves and storage on the walls...wouldn't that be nice...oh yeah and my french doors hung so I can lock them all out of my room....{deep sigh!} I WANNA SCRAP!!! I NEED TO SCRAP!!
