Awesome letters!

Deb has some great letters that she makes and sells. The prices are fabulous and I can wait to get my letters in the mail. I ordered the Palentino because I want to alter them. Now i Really really like the Ravie but I thought altering them would take away from the great font and look too well...ya know...just there instead of WOW! So when I get them and I am done embellishing them for a certain someone, who shall remain nameless for now, I will post. Goody goody gumdrops I am excited.

Trendy Tuesday : Routines

Well I really had to think about this one and then I had to ask my girl for some help because I really don't analyze myself like i prolly should.

This is for Trendy Tuesday

Routines:

1. I have to stop at Fayrd's in the a.m. to get my pork chop biscuit

2. When I walk in the door from a long day of work I have to get some tea and go sit on my back porch and smoke a cigarette or 2 maybe three to unwind.

3. I have to take the same route to work everyday otherwise I get all flustered because my car is usually on auto pilot and if I change the route I will end up lord knows where.

4. Pretty much my whole life is a routine. When you have kids that is just what to expect. The same day in and day out.

5. I bite my nails all the time. This is a whole post in itself. I don't know why i do it. Lots of people say it's and oral fixation or it's a nervous habit and yada yada yada but truly I do it just because. Not only do I bite my nails to the quick but i chew and pull and bite and tear the skin around it. Real attractive huh? But i don't care. Now get this...when I have on fake nails I don't EVER put them in my mouth, pick at them or even think about biting them. Weird huh? Oh well. Then anil person I go to says I have the 2nd worse nails and fingers she has ever seen. Now that I have braces I can't chew my nails like i want so i clip or pick them until i get it just how i want it. And to boot just when i figure out how to chew them with braces it is time for me to have my wires and rubber bands changed and it throws my bite off again....a vicious cycle i tell...vicous!!

okay so my beloved Colts DID IT! I knew good ole payton wouldn't let me down. I was damn near about to come out my skin. That was a good game and I am soooo stinking happy the patriots lost. Can you still see me smiling from ear to ear.

Oh man am i one happy bitch.....

Recipe Swap Complete!

14 of them boogers COMPLETED!! Can I get a Hell Yeah?

Okay first I would like to say I HATE 6X6...it sucks....big time...but this was a fun challenge though. I surely had to think "small" lol



These took me from 11:00 until 4:30 to complete all 14 of them. Had some mishaps in between such as the needle in my sewing maching flying out! That was fun!

And I managed to get 2 other layouts complete as well. I guess I can say I have officially started the Disney Book!

Okay so the Colts was more important than getting my layout uploading on time. Maybe Next Tuesday...lol Now if they can hang on to go to the Super Bowl this chick here will be one happy mofo....Payton Manning is the bomb!!!!



On the other hand I have to have a love for the Saints too. My paw paw was the biggest Saints fan I knew. He loved them so much. He would cuss the TV..hopp and holla at them everytime they lost and I remember as a young girl he would always say.."that's ok maybe next year" next year would roll around and then they would screw up again. It was a vicous cycle. But now, they are kickin ass and I know he is smiling down on them. It is however going to be hard if the Colts and the Saints go head to head in the Super Bowl. What is a girl to do then? I told mom I guess I could wear a saints shirt and a Colts hat..her response was don't go out in public like that you will get your ass kicked...she's right. I guess we will see what happens next week. I am on pins and needles.

At least the Colts and saints have something in common...Payton is from New Orleans!!

Not that I don't have enought to do already (snicker) so I just HAVE to do the Trendy Tuesday Challenege over at Fancy Simple. That one my friends will be fun as long as I don't get a scrappin brain fart.

Monday Elizabeth, her mom and my mom will come over and we will scrap. I can't wait. We are going to work on our recipe pages for the swap we are in that Simone is hosting. 16 of them bad boys need to be done and in the mail for Feb 1. Nothing like being a procrastinator. Wish us luck

I have decided through Fancy Simple that Angie and Barb have started that I would participate as much as possible. I think this will help me find out alot about my inner self. I have a hard time focusing on me ( I know that is hard to believe, after all this is a "meocracy") but I guess what I am trying to say is deep within me? Does that make sense? Here is an example:

Name 5 random facts about me....That is hard for me. I guess because I don't really think about my quirks or habits that might be out the norm. Why you ask? Well because I think I am normal...duh!! LOL... So I think through this it will help me in quite a few ways. OR here is abetter one..I have seen some blogs where people have 100 things about them. Hell I can't come up with 5 you think I can 100? Sheesh! Through this I hope to accomplish at least these 3 things

1. To get me thinking about things I normally wouldn't think about.
2. Help me do better journaling not only on my scrap pages but just start journaling in general a whole lot more on my pages. I am not a great storyteller and definitly not a big journaler.
3. Find my true self deep within. What makes me happy? What makes me sad? ect...

So back to the quote. There is a few things I would like to change about the things I do and say. I really need to stop being impatient with my kids when they start getting on my nerves. Before you know it they are all grown up and I need to stop worrying about my house being in tip top shape and everything in it's place. That truly is not more important than spending quality time with my kids. Who cares if you can't eat cake off my floor? It's not like that is absolutly going to be the end of the world right? I need to start working on and focusing on what's more important. House cleaning all the time or playing games, reading books and playing ball with the kids. The house cleaning will there tomorrow. Quality time with the kids will not. Tonight I was on the phone with a friend of mine and O'neil's (Marty and Julia) and we were discussing how fast they grow up and blah blah and I said yeah Mason will be starting kindergarten this year and she said Oh my gosh it was yesterday I was changing his diapers. That is so true. Where has time gone? I can just cry thinking about my baby boy starting kindergarten. Once they start school time really passes you up then.

Happy 2007!!

New Year's Eve is also my anniversarry....6 years!!
This is a quick post because my scrappin table is calling me. We have a date at 7 sharp. Hope everyone had a great New Year's. We went over to Elizabeth's and had chili and played Mad Gab and Balderdash. We had a real fun time. The kid's played and the adults played.

This is the pic she took of her little boy Donovan for the Christmas cards and I just knew I had to get one and scrap it for her. I am pleased with the way it turned out.
